They are giving away four seats a day completely free to the $1600 main? That is sick.

Open to just poker players or any idiot with a rewards card??

There is going to be a ton of dead money if that many non-poker people are getting seats.

The pdf is now uploaded here

http://www.wsop.com/pdfs/schedules/schedule_776.pdf

There's a key on the bottom but it looks like someone forgot to actually put in all the */**/***/etc.. to the events.

To whoever has control of the pdf, there are some events that have rake included and other events that don't not matching the website. Kinda sloppy on Harrah's part.

Just noticed another thing while talking to friends about events

On website: Event #3 1000+100 NLHE
On PDF: Event #3: 300 NLHE

I'm assuming an error on the PDF part.

Thanks!

I'm wondering if there are going to be caps on events. Seems like this is going to draw a lot of people and I'm worried about showing up a few days after it all starts. Though I'm playing the mixed events so I should be ok.

There's no cap on events, they usually go to alternates if they fill up.

I called and you are correct. You need to register in person, starting October 8th.

anyone know what time they stop for day 2 events. I thought when i made day 2 last year it was around midnight but not sure. The last shuttle from the casino to Chicago is 11 PM so need to figure out how to get back in the city if it goes late.

My wife was definitely saddened by the removal of the ladies tournament. She was looking forward to it when I told her it'd be one of the events. I'm not going to turn this into a "should we have ladies events" debate, but my wife definitely falls into the "entirely nervous about playing and felt much more comfortable with her first real tournament being a ladies only tournament" category.

The tournament is at the Horseshoe Southern Indiana event, so it's not something about the law or the state...and I believe it existed last year...what gives?

Hopefully I can get her to relax and just play in a normal event, but this would have been nice.

You are off your rocker, man. These are pretty standard tournament fees, then they take 4% of the price pool, again pretty standard. Adding 11.6k back into these tournaments is a great deal.

It might depend on number of runners in the actual even and in the NEXT Days event. For the CPC, they played us until 3am on the first event because there were so many players left and they were having a big turnout for the next days event. Although, this was also with the CPC ridiculously slow (awesome) structure. Personally, I'm more pumped for the CPC than for the upcoming WSOPC. Both will be stellar events though, the venue, staff and added cash is unbeatable.

1.1k last year - http://www.wsop.com/tournaments/resu...=9375&grid=729

That should be pretty accurate with maybe a little more action.

The 1.6k and the 10k are anyone's guess. They had a 2k last year (with a little over 100 players) but that was a mid-week event and I don't think there were many, if any, entries given out. The 1.6k this year is on a Friday and there will be a ton of free seats given away (I think the estimate is over 100), so there should be some good action, but hard to put a number to. I wouldn't be surprised if it were as low as 250 or as high as 600.

The 10k is even harder to predict because it really is unprecedented. I am hoping it will be a huge draw, and it brings in a significant number of "name" players, but I don't think anyone really knows. Hammond isn't exactly a tourist destination which might hurt. Really makes me sad that they didn't build the casino on the lake in Chicago when they were talking about it a few years back. That place would have been a huge draw for any major tournament.

The 1.6k should be pretty huge. In the cash giveaways alone, they're giving out about 180 seats (~45 days * 4 per day). The tournaments have 20 seats to the 1600 being given away. Should add up to a very juicy main event.

10k will have 42 seats being given away through the added money.

I stayed in the Marriott's courtyard last year and the neighborhood was fine. But if you ask me , I liked the Ramada inn where I stayed the year befor since it is much closer and a little cheaper.
