Guessing similar field sizes to WSOPc LA at the Bike? Looks good like the other recent ring events.

I'm fairly certain the buy in increase are a direct result of the firestorm of complaints made regarding the dealer toke taken at the table. This change allows the players to show a receipt that actually represents the total outlay.

WSOP made a statement that the practice would be stopped, and it appears the Rincon scedule now reflects that. I would be very surprised if there ends up being any cash taken outside of what is paid at registration.

Can anyone familiar with the area recommend a cheaper hotel close to he casino? Something that is not a dump...

There isnt really anything around. Its either Harrahs or finding something decent in Escondido, CA which is a 30 minute drive.

The price noted on the WSOP website includes all fees.

Never stayed there, but am going for the Motel Mediteran Escondido (http://www.yelp.com/biz/motel-mediteran-escondido), which is 30-40 minutes away and has 3 1/2 stars on Yelp. Final cost is $62.56 per night including all taxes and fees. Since I'm staying for 12 nights, I can't justify the $150-$300 a night Harrah's wants to charge on the weekends in Rincon.

Not sure if this is a silly question or not, but I'll ask anyway. Are the lammers won in the satellites only good for this specific stop on the circuit? If not, are they good for any circuit stop?

I assume they're good only for this year's Rincon stop, but, since some tournies (i.e. DSE) allow lammers to be used for future events, I thought I'd ask.

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times. It's best western quality. Nice staff, fairly clean and ok beds. Staying there on the first weekend of rincon.

Is there going to be any kind of real special room rate? Weeknights are fine, but the weekend room rates our way too expensive and I really am not thrilled about staying 40 minutes away.

So I was able to find out about room rates. What I was told is that room rates start at $74.99/night(but weekends are way more). I priced out the first weekend and it averaged $271/night. The special rate includes a $15 food credit per night. The code is PWSOP. I'm not going to use the rate code because my players card gets me way better rates. Hopefully this helps somebody save some money.

Actually that promocode is pretty bad. To get the best possible rate, sign up for rewards then apply code BDEAL for 20% off. This will bring down the price way more than using the WSOPc code.

Anyone know how event 4 Re-entry tournament works? Seems like most of these re-entries in the past were spread over two days. This one shows one with a start time of 12PM on Saturday Mar 17th and then 4b starts at 5PM the same day. Will 4a and 4b be seperate player pools on the same day? Any information on this would be great.

Works like any re-entry tournament does. Not sure what are you asking exactly.

Let me try to re-explain as I've never played a re-entry tournament before.

My question is if I bust out of 4a and plan to re-enter in 4b tournament that starts at 5PM, will there be a seperate group of just re-entries and new entries? Or will I join 4a players at the current blind level with original starting stack?

For the ones that are spread across 2 days this makes sense, as players from 1a play until a certain level and then players from 1b play until a certain level and then on the third day these player pools combine. But with 1a and 1b occurring on same day I wasnt sure how this would work. My guess would be 1a at 12PM would play to a certain blind level and 1b that started at 5PM would do the same and return the next day but just wanted to confirm.
