Are there any hotels in Chicago that are affordable? If not, are there any hotels that are nearby to the casino that aren't just awful?

PLEASE HELP!
The rooms at ameristar and majestic star are a few miles away and adequate.

There will be discount codes posted when closer to the actual dates for several of the Hammond hotels later. The Ramada is close and I've never had any problems staying there.

There are 21 stops this year. I'm playing 8 of the first 10 stops. Does anybody know why the Hammond stop is starting on Friday instead of the normal Thursday? Does that mean that Event 1 will have 2 starting days on Friday and Saturday?

Hi all,
I just wanted to stop in here and post the link for partner hotels for the WSOPc at PBKC. We've had a lot of people ask about where to stay, so here's the link:

Thanks,

Cherokee North Carolina, Choctaw Durant, Hammond and Palm Beach probably be the top draws in this order

Sweet. I'll be at the Main Events of 3 of the 4 of these. And, both of the Cherokee and West Palm. Super pumped.

Depends on what you value really, New Orleans won't field near as many as tunica will but there is a lot more to do in New Orleans. I'm going to both and tunica gets a lot of hate for some legit reasons, mainly cause there isn't anything to do really unless you go to Memphis, but tunica is my college stomping grounds from ole Miss times I love it

Disclaimer: don't read my posts I post in the book reader game of thrones thread so there are spoilers, but if you truly love the show you should read the books they are awesome/better

anyone know if there's a rate code to book a discounted room for the circuit event at Horseshoe Southern Indiana in October?

Schedule is now showing a May 13-24 return trip to Foxwoods... I don't think this was there on the initial schedule?

ETA: Yeah, 22 stops listed now...

It looks like we have our first revision of the WSOP circuit schedule this year. It makes sense to announce it now with all the press releases for Foxwoods going out.

(Original schedule):
http://www.wsop.com/news/2014/Jul/48...-SCHEDULE.html

It makes sense from a marketing perspective...although I think having Canadian tour stops provides just as much impact (ie: sad to see Vancouver does not have an event this year).

Has anybody heard when the Southern Indiana schedule will be coming out? Last year it was out around 8/1. Hopefully they will make a couple changes. I wish there was a little more consistency between stops.

Yeah clearly too much variety between schedules is a problem. Wish we could some more $365 Holdem events.

Selfishly, I'm glad there will be a circuit event at AK-Chin, since I live in Phoenix, but admittedly, I am surprised, because AK-Chin has less than 10 tables in their poker area, never more than 3 cash tables going that I've ever seen, and, unless things have changed significantly since I last played there (over a year ago), they are lucky to get 3 tables for tournaments. Sometimes they can't even get 10 players to start a tournament.

I assume the circuit will bring more players than usual (Arizona has plenty of poker players), but I doubt it will be as successful as many of the other properties. I would guess it will be on par with Harrah's Rincon (near San Diego).

Hi,

I just need an advice from the Circuit regulars (I live in Europe and only played 2 WSOPC events so far).
I will be in the US early 2015, but can't play all the stops...
Hard to pick one, but I know I like casinos close to (or inside) a nice city where you can enjoy the post-elimination life ! I might go to New Orleans in May but would like to try another location.
Between St Louis, Cincinnati, Baltimore or Council Bluffs, which one will you choose ?
Thanks !

Cincinnati is right downtown and I think everyone thought it was ran great last year, I'm unfamilar with the other stops. New Orleans would def be a great stop given what you are looking for.

I need advice!

I have my flight booked for Chicago, but I have no where to stay.

I've heard to drive to Hammond from the city is a half hour drive and requires a $4 toll. Also, hotels in the city are $200 a night.

Alternatively, I read that all the hotels in Hammond are horrible. I'd rather not stay in a motel.

I have no clue what to do.

Any advice would be appreciated.
