Get well soon.

I've talked to a lot of players within a 100 mile radius of Tunica, and trust me, they are aware of the WSOP at Horseshoe and are making plans to attend. It should be fine as usual, but I will miss the venue that was formerly Harrahs.

The Horseshoe setup somewhat reminds me of the amphitheater in New Orleans minus the "refrigerator room" off to the side.

Are the day 2 restart times something that is standard across circuit events? I've seen a schedule, but it didn't include restart times, along with other info. If anyone knows, or is there already to see structure sheets, let me know. Curious about restarts of 12:00 and 5:00 events for day 2. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry too much about the numbers in the first two events, I'd say most people will start with the reentry, which is gonna be 1000+ like it is most years

I know they have tables set up on the second level conference rooms, but after seeing how few tables are in bluesville, will they be able to handle this many tournament players plus cash games?

I think they 85 total tables designated for tournament play.

Thanks for posting this! If Horseshoe Tunica had bothered posting that schedule anywhere, they probably would have gotten an extra night or two out of me.

I think the turn out will be close to the same. The only hassle will be for folk who were used to staying at the Harrah's hotels who will need to sift through where the best deal is now. In years past some players stayed in hotels in Hernando and Southaven anyway. I plan on playing Flight A in Event 3 this afternoon. Good luck y'all.

Good luck you should win it since I'm sitting home recuperating from the heart cath. Tell Lisa, Shelia and Margo hi for me.

10-4 Tex I meant 4A is what I'm playing. Sounds like they have active STS going good and had around 40 for the mega so I'm going to go in early.

In how many rooms are these tables spread out?

299 in Event 4 flight A yesterday. They have additional tables in an overflow room upstairs I guess. I didn't go up there.

Everything by the poker room is cash.

There are some tables setup in the diamond lounge, upstairs in a second floor conference room, and appears to be 53 tables on the floor of Bluesville for tournaments.. 36 tables at poker room for cash games..

Played flight 3C of re-entry and my table was in a roped off portion of the outer poker room / casino slot floor. Usually I wouldn't mind where I play poker, but for $365 I want to be on the main floor, and at least enjoying my Circuit experience..

My table was the last to be allowed to enter Bluesville to play at 8:15 after starting at 5:00. The reason I bring this up is because the non-ring event started at 7:00 and all 100 plus entrants played in Bluesville.

I guess to answer the question, will Horseshoe be able to handle this many players? Nope. It's an overcrowded cluster **** with more attention paid towards cash rake.
Also - why the **** did the casino have security changing house rake boxes at my tournament table in the middle of a hand with me in seat 10. It literally took 2 minutes to change because the guy was being trained by a fellow guard and floor boss. Poorly managed IMO

They should have put the overflow poker tables at the Roadhouse next door.

I am a local and I agree with regarding more attention towards cash game rake.

I hate it because I want the circuit to come back every year, but they didn't think it through.

With this being the first year the circuit event is at the Horseshoe, I think it has gone pretty smoothly... There are probably some items that could be improved, the real thing will be if Lisa and Dennis correct these minor issues for next year or not...

I agree I've been very pleased, cash games are great too, there's a huge 150/300 2-7 game going right now, yeah I did see the roped off section and I can understand that frustration, they are trying their best to keep people in Bluesville and the lounge on the second floor, maybe next year they will adjust that a bit

Also of note is that they increased the rake from 4+1 to 5+1 and when I asked if this was just to gouge the wsopc crowd or a permanent move I was told it is permanent. So add that to the reduction of comps and a subsequent raise in food prices it kind of sucked. Not that anyone was expecting to see it happen.

The complaint that I hear most is that they took out the cheap burger place and replaced it with a high dollar joint that takes double your comps for an order.

Naw. Same place 8oz Burger but yeah double points which is kind of ridiculous but when you're the only game in town (no offense Hollywood) you get to do things like that.
