I'm going to be flying out to Las Vegas soon and I was considering playing in a WSOP bracelet event or two just for fun, but I have a somewhat embarrassing bathroom question to ask before I actually register for any events. I've created a new SN because I don't want to become the butt of any jokes under my regular SN (pun definitely intended
)
I had a total colectomy several years ago which has left me having to use the bathroom stalls several times during the day (and a couple of times overnight). Being mostly a cash game player, this has never been an issue, because I can just get up from the game with no repercussions whenever nature calls. Even during small tourneys in my local room, the normal 10-minute break every 2 hours has been sufficient. However, I'm concerned about what the situation is like at the Rio when 100s or even 1000s of people all try to get to the bathrooms at the same time. And although the vast majority of guys are just going there to take a leak, if the urinals are all taken, they're going to use the stalls as well.
How close/far are the bathrooms to where the tourneys are played? What are the lines like? And how clean/disgusting are the stalls? Is it possible to leave the table a couple of minutes early to beat the rush to the bathrooms without suffering too much chip loss? (I realize this gets worse as the tourney progresses and the antes get larger.)
Do you think it is possible for someone with my medical issue to play in a large event or should I just stick to cash games when I'm out there? I'm open to any serious suggestions and/or advice. (And please try to keep the bathroom humor and other jokes to a minimum.
) TIA
