Generally $1050

Sounds about right. Definitely worth it if you're already in the poker room but not sure if it's worth the savings to drive over specifically for it (for me at least).

Keep in mind that your credit card company may treat your casino purchase as a cash advance and will not only charge an extra fee, but may rip you off high interest on your entire outstanding balance! Fallsview may also still be forcing you to pay for courier fees to take physical possession of a stealable entry card if you want to be guaranteed a specific day.

One option is to find a trustworthy person who will buy the entry cards for you before they sell out. I am willing to do this for any of the pros that I have met in the seven WPT festivals I've been to in the past year, including WPT500 Aria.

Thanks for the tip. When I used my CC to buy a seat a few years back at the Fallsview Classic my credit card company didn't see it as a cash advance so hopefully it isn't this time either.

$1100 entry
$22 service fee
$4.26 courier fee as I want a specific day (who wouldn't?)

Friday could have been the worst-managed day at the poker room ever, with the first satellite table opening very late with only a week left before WPT FPC starts. Saturday was comparatively ran much better, with four satellite tables being opened much earlier.

The $1,050 satellites still take a long time to get ten players, with fewer $5K winners compared to the same time last year. My two friends and I ended up winning a total of eight $5,000 Main Event entries, and are looking to sell them at just below face value. By the way, the $275 super satellite entries are officially sold out.

With over 1,000 poker players splashing around in Niagara Falls starting this week, watch out for NF businesses that rip you off with tourist fees, such as TIF, DMDF, PF, etc.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjhI...IEIntPzM?t=55s

My friends and I have always been able to request removal of these non-mandatory fees, until this weekend when Ramada refused for the first time, charging a TIF % on the advertised rate without prior disclosure, then charging the TIF % again on the Facility Fee!

"I'm not paying this bill with an illegal fee on it, remove it or call the police so that they can arrest you" is exactly what I would tell the Manager on Duty at that Ramada

Fallsview Hotel and Marriott Fallsview Hotel seem to have decent fitness equipment.

I'm planning to contact the Niagara Falls and government tax authorities, but next time I go to Fallsview, I'll see what the police has to say. In the meantime, in case anybody has already booked with Ramada, be sure to park at the casino instead as Ramada will rip you off another $15/night just for parking.

The flyer says they don't accept American Express.

I'm waiting for an answer too, worst case I'll drive up there tonight to get a ticket and see what the deal is on availability

$1,100 event isn't sold out. If you going to be at FV in person you will be able to buy it for $1050 off one of the players that sells them. Won't be hard to spot the guys selling them they walk around announcing they are buying and selling.

Anyone know if they will continue to run Satellites to the $1,100 event (day 1b) once day 1a has already started? This would be a big help for me to find out as I am not arriving in town until Saturday afternoon. Thanks.

Looking to buy 2500, 5000 or 1500 tickets. Will buy any at 8% discount- have several friends attending so could buy multiple tickets to each of the events. Won't be arriving until the 11th

timex, Fallsview failed to run many $1,050 and $550 satellites so there is a limited number of $5K and $2,500 seats for sale. Five regulars have won at least 13 or the majority of the $5K seats, and they know they can sell them for at least $4900 by February 13.

The few $2,500 seats available have been selling for $2,400. Fallsview did not run any satellites for the $1,500 Shootout so there is no $1500 for sale. It appears that Fallsview has finally reached price stability or equilibrium after eight years of tournaments.
