218 runners for the 450.00, the structure was a little off as they took out the 5-10 level? So we went 4-8 and then 6-12 and they only gave us 1/2hr dinner break after level 11. I tried to get the floor to poll the rest of the players left to see if they would accept a longer break but they said the top dogs had already determined the structure and would not be making any changes.

Overall good tournament, lots of dead money. Ended up 5 handed and we chopped 10K and left 3K in middle and the 1st place trophy. Finished 3rd.

The $1500 event drew in 202 runners. By far the most successful turnouts Seneca Niagara has ever seen for their tournament weeks... Last I heard they were planning another string of events for the month of October. The room was jam packed for 4 straight nights of cash games. I've never seen 6-7 games of 2-5 no limit on up like I did the last couple of nights. There were a couple of things they could improve on/mistakes they could learn from, but overall this is the best I've ever seen the room in the 5 years I've been playing there...

Played the 300+30 on Sunday with no success... Did very well on the cash games over the weekend, profiting about 2000 for all my sessions, but spent half that on satellites/Sunday tournament. Already looking forward to another week like this in October. I know they have their July Summer Slam tournaments every year, but those aren't as good as the events they had this past week.

Congrats - I played this event as well and busted shortly after the dinner break. I planned to play the main as well, but with the tables set up in the birds nest above the casino floor I found the smoke really tough to deal with for a full day. Anyone else share this complaint? I hope they find a better location for future events.
