sup fellas, i was just checking out the weekly tournies at parx and i see they have a 100$+20 every Tuesday and Thursday.
if any1 has played this tourny, whats the avg # of players this tourney gets or how big does the prize pool get? 4-5k for 1st would deff make it worth the trip. thx
They were in the 100's on Tue nights then it kept growing up in to the 200's before the Parx series. Thurs is a new tourney. Tue was a growing success so make the trip.
Tuesday tournaments are into the 300's now, Thursday tournies start this Thursday the 1st so there arent any #'s for those yet the Sat tournies are usually in the low 100's
yeah true. most live live stakes mtt's have horrendous blind structure, but if you simply know how to push/fold then its already a profitable +ev tourny to play.
not a bad tournament.. the 1st couple times i played it was around 340 players on tuesday night.. last tuesday it got 209 and i chopped it 6 ways.. i was chip leader (barely) 6 handed with 16 big blinds lol so yea the structure is awful late in tournament.. 1st was like $4,600 and the chop went $2k for the short stack which was $1k more than 6th was supposed to get.. and the rest of us took $2,500.. since it isn't very top heavy, just to cash in top 18 was $355 so trippled ur money which is pretty good for a min cash.. all in all not bad at all for a $120 tournament
also borgata has good $120 tournaments on wednesday's at 11:00 and 7:00 that get between 200 and 300 players and guarantee $15k on each.. more top heavy too so 1st is usually between $7-8k
Im getting ready to move up there whats the best area around the casino to live in? any particular bad neighborhoods or areas I need to be concered with?
