Any updates on the Orleans tournament going on now? I tried searching for it but didnt come up with anything. Anyone playing in it? How is the room? Planning on going next week.
The Orleans runs 100-200 player fields most of the time in their every day tournament.
This tournament is for locals and tourist who happen to be at Orleans. Not what it use to be.

I like playing in their Friday night tourny. Lots of action- good times.
I really like these tournaments. You get a good amount of play for the buy-in amount. The room is away from the casino and has plenty of tables. They have a snack bar in the room which could be better but at least they have it. And they also provide free fruit - which is great if you don't have time to do breakfast before the tournament. The staff is friendly and I think these tournaments are very well run.
i thought the staff was weak; the advertising was non existent and the limnit structures were incredibly bad; for example playing 10k 20k omaha hi lo at the final table with 100k avg stacks
