8. Players will be permitted to wear sponsor logos provided that such player informs BIKE what these sponsor logos are in this Waiver form completed by the player PRIOR to the commencement of the Event. Players are not allowed to add to or switch sponsor logos from those specified to BIKE in this Waiver at any time after the commencement of the Event.

No more than 10% of the overall entry field at the Event can wear the branding/logos of any single company. If more than 10% of the players from any single company are wearing the branding/logos of any single company, then the players themselves or a company representative must decide which players wear the branded clothing. If no decision is made, then BIKE will high card the players to make a decision.

No more than 2 players on the final table of the Event can wear the logos of any single company. If more than 2 players from any single company reach the final table then the players themselves or a company representative must decide which 2 players wear the branded clothing. If no decision is made, then BIKE will high card the players to make a decision. Any player starting the final table with no logos must remain wearing no logos throughout the final.

The fact is, he who pays the bills make the rules guys. Caesars decided only three logos per sponsor on the November Nine. Why? Doesn't matter why. They own the WSOP and are paying for it to be broadcast so they get to decide. The WPT makes the rules for WPT TV, Full Tilt makes them for Onyx filming, PokerStars makes them for EPT/NAPT/LAPT/APPT/etc... because they pay for the TV.

All third party entities are aware of ALL of these rules when they submit players/qualifiers for events run/owned/sponsored by other companies. I realize you weren't aware of this rule, but it WAS on the piece of paper you signed to play the event and I guarantee you FT (who was sponsoring you both I believe?) was aware of this rule.

BSO - The BSO is a made for Television event for ESPN. While LA was a tremendously successful event, it was a unique situation where we had an extra filming day due to the Main Event not being filmed. The normal filming schedule for the BSO is two days with two flights in a single day. Therefore the play cannot last more than 5-6 hours in each preliminary flight. In LA, the prelims went 10 hours, 12 hours and then the Final Table went 17 hours. That is unfortunately just too long for this production.

Players are all aware of the structure and the three hours of ESPN that the show is guaranteed.

can you understand that some of us that have paid 100s of thousands in rake and indirectly promoted pokerstars brand over the years for free would be incredible frustrated that pokerstars logic in everything lately has been "it would be expensive for us to provide you a good product, we are going to provide you with a mediocre product because we know you will take that".

You took a tournament that a good player actually has a reasonable expectation in and reverted it back to the crapshoot from compton at twice the buyin.

is it even worth goin over tehre for the 1k side event?.. borgata spring starts in 3 days so i was just going to wait for that

the 2k got 24 people this year and 132 last year

With all the free advertising Stars gets from the BSO there seems to be 2 easy solutions.

1) keep structure as it was at Bike and film over 2 days.

(I believe Stars/ESPN can afford this)

2) Bring an extra table with hole card cameras and have 2 featured tables. This is commonly done on WSOP ESPN boradcasts, so Im sure ESPN has more of these tables.



Film both tables (Stars can afford this too)

As far as the Bike was concerned, you did sidestep around the issue of logos prior to the event. I had already cleared wearing the patch with Mo, who represented the Bike, who was now running the event. The release was set in front of paid players literally 2 minutes bedore the cards were dealt.

You claimed that Stars was still running the show and paying the bills so they could set the rules, however, that is not what you told the California state regulators. The press release made it appear that the Bike was now running the BSO. All advertising that contained NAPT or PokerStars was removed from the Bicycle Casino although Im certain it will somehow be photoshopped in on the TV broadcast.


Are all 81 seats sold for the BSO? I'm still in the Hollywood WPT, but may show up at Mohegan if I bustout Day 3.

(If there are spots open, I will not buy in unless I can wear a patch and can see the release more than 5 minutes prior)
