Hey Tab quick question about the room rates. I called Tue & was told that Sun & monday were sold out but waterclub was available. I asked about rates for that they said no chance so I booked Sun & Mon @ Waterclub and my standard 2 free weekday comps @ Borgata for tue & Wed. Is there any chance of them extending me a poker rate @ The WaterClub? i would rather pay & stay in the same room than have to move all my crap on a dinner break Tuesday(wishful thinking I know). Even easier would be if they gave me poker rte @ Borgata Sun & Mon & I just kept the comped room Tue & Wed. Any ideas would be a great help.

Yeah, this sucks pretty hard. Keep trying different options and nothing is really workable. If there is anything you can do to slide me in the borg TAB, I would be inf grateful.

TAB I has a few questions aboot mah seat.

The paper says that we get can pick up our seat assignment the morning of (Monday for me) after 9am at the 'tournament podium'. I'm guessing that this is NOT the regular registration window where you normally buy in to tournaments?? Is this the desk in the back just outside the tournament room?

I'd really love it if I didn't have to stand in the line that I am sure will be there Monday.

Also, I do not see anything in the schedule about a dinner break. Are we going to run straight through? By my count (give or take) here's how the day shapes up....the last break is a bit confusing.

Is it still possible to register online directly for Day 1b?

I'm not very smart, granted, but I don't see where on the site.

Also, is there still a way to get the $99 rate?

Just got in ... This place is a mad house ... Check in line is a mile long too... Will play in day 1b... Might try the last satelite at 4 while waiting for the check in line to ease up

Somehow we squeezed 200 into the qualifier (40 more seats). Unfortunately a ####load of players got shut out as the room was booked solid. This was a very busy day.

Expecting a big crowd tomorrow for the Day 1b.

Please try to get here at a reasonable time...we don't want anyone to get shutout .

amazing job squeezing all those players in, despite lots of people bieng turned away...when i walked-in, it seemed the poker room was full at capacity and that was BEFORE the start of the satellite, and somehow they opened up enough room for 200 players...am sure was pretty hectic...anyway, playing tomorrow...Table 1, Seat 4....looks like I am already at the final table ...and no need for re-draw at the end of the night ... and please read the first post of the thread...I don't chop...LOL gl to all

with all the praises for the poker staff and directors at Borgata, I have to admit that lack of wireless internet in the rooms truly, and I mean TRULY, blows...and the inflexible, built-in and non-moving wired CAT-5 cable is so F&^%$# short, you have no choice but to sit rigidly at the desk and use your laptop...every motel charging more than $20/night has a wireless service these days!!!

to make matters even more torturous, the TV doesn't turn enough so that you can at least ease the pain of sitting at the desk while playing , by watching the tube...and this is the one time that I forgot to bring my 20-ft long cable ....

but I guess all will be forgotten when I stuff my duffel bag with 300K+ first place prize

i got screwed big time in the friday 4:00 satelite.. had 58k chips at 2nd break.. 65k half hour later picked up 55 on button folded to me blinds 600 1200 i made it 3600.. small blind calls and is only guy who can hurt me he had like 60k.. flop 59K 2 diamonds.. he bets out 9k i make it 30k and he pushes.. A10 spades turn Q river J.. with only 8 tables left too.. i'm so pissed really wanted to play in this tourny

is that hand for real... thats pretty ***** brutal

yea both of us 50 big blinds deep and he plays that pot with me like that.. not only that i hadn't been playing hands at all for over half an hour and before that i showed down a hand every time at this table

Sigh lost a 300k pot about 20 minutes before the end of the day with bottom set against top two and an OESFD. I'm pissed off that I didn't even ****ing bust so now I have to wake up on tuesday morning to play a 20bb stack.

lol... 20 bb's is more than workable man.

this years Wsop mainevent... i get crippled on the very last hand of night and i have to comeback on day2 with 1025 @250/500. (nut low stack end of day 1)
