Those guarantees are absolutely terrible. Not even worth coming for. How do you have a $25K guarantee in one event. You can't guarantee that more than 100 people will show. Meh, not even worth getting out of bed for.

in for the $340...interested to see how many runners it gets. i'd be happy if it got anything over 150.

Why are CT casinos opposed to running a reentry event? Multi day reentries are a great way of inflating the prize pool with a limited player pool. Take a look at the WSOPc palm beach from earlier this year.

Why is the 340 not 330? That makes no sense. Also are these 1 day or 2 day tournaments?

Ya, points are a must. What happened to the big runners mohegan used to get 2-3 years ago. Great guarantees , add a 1100-1600 in there with a 250k+. I've been away from the CT poker scene for a while, what happened at mohegan?

I have no clue. I want to go to Mohegan but Im not giving them my business till they show me they want it

blog is hurtin. They need someone dedicated to take control of it. Players like their pictures taken and recognition for playing well. They also like viewing and playing on a live stream. A good blog and live stream will help spread interest and promote future events. Cover a table with DeepStackPokerTour/MoheganSun emblems and event dates and stick a live stream over it. As of now the blog is basically a tournament clock with random john and jane doe photos scattered in(with the occasional name). And that's only until whomever is running the blog punches out for the night and final results get posted randomly the following day. It's like a strangely written book with a spoiler at the end instead of the final 3 chapters when it has the potential to be mutha fckn Star Wars.

After playing yesterday I realize now that the guy running the blog is dedicated, but unfortunately incapable on his own. He needs help. And apparently no employee of Mohegan is allowed to run a live stream per their gaming commission. Not sure why they don't contract out like Foxwoods w/ WhoJedi and VeeRob.

Thank you for the feedback, yes Chris does a great job on his own, however moving forward we are going to get a second person to assist him allowing for complete coverage of each event. As far as live streaming, beginning in August and going forward we will have a live streaming 360 degree camera feature table at every event. As part of the DeepStacks tour, this 360 live streaming coverage will be offered during all Mohegan Sun events as of our August Summer Showdown.

Played both tourneys june 1st and the 1100 yesterday, it would have been nice to know it was a 2 day event which I didnt. Ended at 2 am and back at 12? No way I would have played. Very well run tournaments , dealers everything else.

Excellent point I played in a few of these events. Why can't the current events have $100K guarantees anymore or even $50K guarantees. The tournament series lately at mohegan are terrible. $10K guarantees and 100 players. I saw like top prize was $2,000 I mean come on. What happened?

Economy went south? Gas went through the roof. No comps for an 1100 tourney with 100 going to rake , I mean not even a meal voucher? At least give me a slurpie if I am paying 100 for rake lol. People don't have the spendable, disposable cash they did when the economy was strong few years ago. Not really that shocking is it?

have you seen the attendence numbers at borgata? I don't believe its the economy.
