It’s the festival everyone has been waiting to hear about - the Paddypowerpoker.com Irish Open 2014 details are now live:

About the Satellites this year;

The Sole Survivor is back, with €50,000 cold hard cash for the winner but we're also awarding an additional free entry to the Irish Open 2015 main event to the 2nd to 6th Sole Survivor finishers.

The first package satellite will run on Sunday 10th Nov at 8pm with 2 X €3,200 packages guaranteed. Buy-in costs €200 +€15 reg.

There are also Wednesday night ticket only satellites running at 8pm each week (€138 +€12 reg) and there will be more and more added to the schedule in the coming weeks.

Daily feeders are running right now and we'll be adding value and extra ways to qualify (including a renewed Cheap Seats programme that will make it a really easy way to qualify for nothing, or next to nothing ).

Venue:
The Burlington Hotel is now the Double Tree Hotel by Hilton, Dublin. As anyone that attended the Winter Festival would know the hotel has been refurbished to a really high standard. The accommodation for players and the conference room where the festival will take place have will all be of the highest standard for the Irish Open 2014.

Date:
Main event will run from 18th to 21st April 2014. The live super satellite will take place on Thursday 17th April.

Entry; costs €2,000 +€250 registration fee.

Cheap Seats uses a token system so you can choose when you want to play your Grand Final. Cheap Seats tokens have no expiry date but obviously need to be used before the last Grand Final.

There are only 7 tokens out so far for tonight's Grand Final so there's great value to be had in the Cheap Seats tonight (its pretty much guaranteed to have a hefty overlay as the only way to qualify is to win a seat through a qualifier).

There is a €4.40 qualifier running at 16:30 but if you have a token for tonight's Grand Final at 19:30 then there won't be a better time to get value for it.

We're pretty much guaranteed to have an overlay in tonight's Cheap Seat Grand Final (last week the overlay was over €1,100 and this week looks like it will be similar).

There's no better value when it comes to qualifying for the Irish Open main event so don't miss out folks. The last qualifier is at 16:30 and costs €4.40 to enter.

Its a big night for us here in Power Tower....we're continuing with the added GTD seats that were so successful over Christmas so tonight @20:00 we have a 2 X €2,250 seat GTD Irish Open Super Satellite (€138+€12 F/O). 13 players qualified so far and there are plenty more qualifiers scheduled to run today so plenty of chances to get in cheap or even for free.

kingemmy & thompson1951 were our Irish Open winners last night. Next up its the Cheap Seats Grand Final @ 19:30, with 1 X €2,250 seat GTD. Its invitation only so you have to qualify through a €4.40 Cheap Seats qualifier (which run today from 15:30 on the half hour, every hour up to 21:30).
