I was debating going to play a the stop in St Louis MO at River City Casino. Was looking to see if anyone had any opinions as to how the events were run good or bad. Or, any thoughts about the HPT in general.

But to answer your question the HTP events are as good or bad as the casino running them.

The event in Majestic Star in Chicago was a train wreck and HPT did nothing, on the other hand the Beltera even was well run.

I think the StLouis casinos generally are well run. So this could be fun.
