I am interested in playing in my first live event. This would be harrah's rincon's circuit event probably the 1st or second as they are low cost. Anyone ever play in these. How was your experience? What was it like compared to a non circuit normal daily type tournament? It doesn't have to be harrah's rincon specifically. I'm just interested in differences here. Decent structure, varied field from home game heros to pros. Give it a shot, for the buy in it's tough to find a better tournament in socal. Played 1 event and bubbled last year, had a buddy FT one.
daily turneys tend to be more of a shortstack / turbo format compared with circuit events.
the low buyins ($500 and less) are very fishy in live events. there will be some really good players too but mostly chip warmers as far as the eye can see ;-)
