Congrats to Matt and Vinny as well. Played with them on day 2 for a while and have played cash with Matt also, both good players and deserving of their finishes.

But a live player would know to snapfold when someone takes a long time and then raises in an obvious squeeze spot.

haha well played TT ;p..... i wasn't really trying to knock live players, but it def. came off that way. I meant that, im pretty sure he only plays live and for the most part just cash games. I thought it was impressive that a player that is not used to being in shallow stack (cash standards) situations could hold his own against online "superstars" sloppyklod and rcrane

yeah matt played very solid mostly, when we first got shallow, he had some major leaks, as in, not knowing any calling ranges for blind on blind shoves, as well as everytime he raised klods bb, not knowing a proper calling range, as he never called and klod reshoved him about 1287902183712 times, but towards the end, he was adjusting his ranges pretty well, and started becoming a bit of a nuisance to my left, but gg everyone, was a tough final table for sure

yah i was pretty sure matt would have been fairly lost with a lot of pre flop situations that arise during short handed shallow stacked play. He is a beast tho in cash games that always play 250bb+ effective deep, but figured he's smart enough to adjust accordingly.

Congrats Russ.... i'm sure u stacked up nicely on that table we were at??? I was so angry to leave that table, sooooooooooo many weak spots w/ deep stacks!!!

whats going on dave, it seemed like u were playing pretty aggressive, i missed the one pot where u doubled though at the end of one of the levels, i heard a little about it, but u can tell me the hand if u want my input, what did u have the one hand where i had 89 top pair?

I was gunna play this but had this huge project for 1/3 my total grade that was due this week, so I had to stay home and work on it.

Tbh, I've taken most of this year off (ironic considering how long I waited to turn 21). I actually have only been to AC once all year (the 5k at Borgata in June). Kinda hoping to start playing a little bit more again in 2009 but for now I'm trying to focus on some other things before coming back to poker.

The 89 hand vs you I had A7 (2nd pair), couldnt find a fold preflop or on the river. I was very close to check shoving the river, but opted to call it off like a jackass instead.

I was wondering about the j9 hand that crippled me vs klod and vinny. I had 1.45m klod 950k vinny covers blinds 25k 50k 5k ante. klod opens for 125 utg, vinny flats behind, i call with j9h from bb. flop 993r checked around. turn 5 i lead for 275 klod calls. river 2 i shove klod snap calls with 55. Seems like a cooler to me, just wondering if you ever lead the flop or take a different line for reasons I didnt consider.
