Question: if you register online and have a green clear pass, do you still have to wait in line for the cage to verify your clear pass (this will be my first tournament event using covid verification)? or can you just go to the kiosks?

[NB: I am assuming the kiosks will be fixed by this time, I see the post above saying they are broken, but I won't be there for another week.]

I went to rio at 3pm. Got my vaccination check done but kiosks didn’t work. Went to a supervisor and tried 3 different machines which wouldn’t work. I’m doing the Sunday flight so I guess I’ll go early Sunday morning. Probably will go back to my hotel in between though

There are computers next to the cash game board which were used yesterday for verifications. Just ask a floor person.

Vaccination verification line is 200 deep . About 45-50 minutes waiting.

Walked by the vax verification line this morning. I couldn't even see the end. People there told me it was an hour long before they even opened.

Since they will probably require this next year too, I've probably played my last WSOP, in 2019. That's fine, there are plenty of other tournament series going.

Buying into a WSOP tournament seems much more complicated this year! Would someone mind telling me the steps? Is it 1) upload vaccination card to clear app and turn green, 2) stand on vaccination verification line for hours to get verified, and 3) stand on another very long line to buy in to tournament? Am I missing anything? I'm already green on the clear app but I will be flying in next Sunday and playing in the ladies tournament on Monday so I'm trying to be proactive as possible so I don't get stuck trying to buy in after the tournament has started. Thanks!

If you are verified on the CLEAR app (green), you do not have to get verified in a separate line at WSOP, they will scan the QR code from the clear app when you buy in to your first event. In other words eliminate step 2 from your equation.

I do not believe so (for the first event you plan to play). If you register and buy in via Bravo, for the first event you plan to play you must verify your online payment method in the Belize Room. So, you'd have to wait in line for that....but when you have done that one time, from them on you can register online and use the FastTrac machines to print out your seat ticket, etc.

you still have to verify your credit card in main registration line, at that rate, u might as well buyin in person.

If you do the Bravo app they charge u extra fees, plus the Kiosk are not working.

In 2019, my credit card buyins through Bravo counted as purchases.

I registered at the cage this year with a credit card, and they appear to have also posted as purchases.

I noticed they have a stud event on Wednesday, are the lines A long wait being that this game is not as popular as NL? Also when I sign up in person for an event, can I pay with a credit card or is it cash only?

Is the clear pass suppose to be solid green? Or is it ok that it is fluctuating between green and gray? Mine is doing the latter, but it shows that I'm fully vaccinated and I don't see any request for additional verification...

It’s kind of scanning up and down green, but should show a big QR code and your photo.

I read all of these updates, all things Twitter/Kevmarh, and it still was confusing what lines were what last night. I asked security, a dealer, players…

There were two lines going into the Belize verification room. I was in one the tails down the ramp to the left. We were told if our Clear showed green you can go into another line that was to the right across the hall from the kiosks and verification entry.
That line moved very quickly and I was able to verify my online registration and get my seat ticket.

The gentlemen who was in front of me in the first line (about 30 people deep at that time) was finally to the door after I had:
Waited in line myself, walked thru the pavilion and other poker areas, went back to my room to drink a beer, went back downstairs and watch the end of the 25k HORSE…. so get the Clear app or be prepared to wait. Also I’m not even sure what they verify if you don’t have the clear app. It was almost as if you’re getting it anyway from that line.

To clarify: both lines go into the same door. There are stations where people are registering you (4 last night). The green Clear line was sent into a short line in the room. The other line fed to 1 person who was looking at the other lines documentation, then they could get in the short line in the room with the rest.

Right, you can do either or both in the room. The line that goes downhill is credit card verification. The line that goes uphill is jab verification. Just act like you don't know when you get in line.

There was a guy at the door and would call people from the Cleared line. He only let people pass if they showed the Green. Could be different with each worker

Just to clear this up and Kevin cleared this up in his Twitter feed at some point. If you have a green background in CLEAR with your photo and a QR code you do NOT have to go to Belize to verify your vaccination status. That is only for people who do not have the above OR who do not have the clear app at all for whatever reason.

If you do have green background in CLEAR they will scan the QR code for the first event you register for at any cage, etc (again does not have to be in Belize) and you are good to go for rest of WSOP.

Belize Room has two things going. They are checking vaccination status for those without CLEAR or who do not have a green GO background on CLEAR AND they are verifying payment method for those who registered via Bravo. If you registered via BRAVO, you will have to go to Belize to verify your payment method (regardless of CLEAR status). If you are verifying your payment method, then when you do that, they will also scan your CLEAR QR code and print out your seat ticket for first event.
