Over/under for the main?

I don't know that they have ever had a $1600 event here.
However, the cash action is non stop during the weekends.. So wonder how many will turn up

The only big event they had was a 350 buy-in and it had 396/398 I believe.

I am thinking under 400.

To be frank I wouldn't mind to stay in Frederick and do the 25 minute commute. You can save a ton by picking a hotel with free breakfast.

Also, route 340 is always empty.

Sit n go's start from the 21st when the series starts.

Thanks..just realized ncaa tournament will be going on I assume no tvs around to watch but is there anywhere close by to watch when I bust early?

Lots of TVs in the Tournament area and in both the Poker Rooms.

Folks, these events will be held in the ball room overseeing the track. I heard they can easily fit up to 80 tables there. Any one who visited the ball room before can provide more details.

I am not sure about TV's there, but, as Bill said lot of TV's in both the poker rooms.

They are not cutting off anyone at the moment. But, they do suggest pre registration for the events. Especially the first and second events.

Is anyone planning to play the Event's 1 and 2?

I will probably try the 7:15 PM secondary event on Monday 4/25 and the one on Thursday 4/28.

No, but I'm considering #3-$350 Sunday 11:15am and/or #5-$240 Monday 11:15am. I'll report back on turnout for Sunday if I end up playing,

I played today. They had 299 entries. Overall I thought it was well run given today was their first day running a big tournament. We definitely be playing a few more events!

5k chips and 100 chips look almost identical. No complaints about the tourney or floor staff/dealers. Not a big fan of dinner breaks for 1 day tourneys. They did not use the jumbo index cards for the tourney.

Thinking about playing Tuesdays $240 + $100 bounty. structure looks good and seems to be a good tournament, any more updates from people that have played. Outside the chips being close to the same any other issues ?

I walked by before the entry/re-entry period had been reached. At that time, there were 3 tables and all ladies.

I played today. A lady next to me said the guy in the ladies tourney busted out right before the bubble. Everyone at the table said he has played Ladies events at other casinos.

What is the late registration situation for the main event? I may be driving up there and the extra time would really make a big difference on whether I came up Thursday night or Friday morning

late registration and re-entry goes til end of level 6 for the tournament. So with 1 hour levels for main event you have til about 5 pm-ish to enter i would guess.

Played event 6 yesterday ($240 NL Turbo). It had 68 entrants with about $4.5k for 1st. I think event 5 (Seniors) had about 65 entrants.
