Hey Tommy,

Any way satty grinders might be able to pick up some kind of comps? I've played dozens of these- hundreds in vig- but got nothing back.

so I went to cashout and because I had played pai gow before the tournament started for a bit I had like 250 extra chips to exchange. Because the amount was this much over the 29k other chips I was cashing (thin) it took 15 minutes for the lady to confirm or something (also due slightly to the fact that W2 reports gross winnings not net, which I explained to her 5 times)

just wanted to let you know I will be boycotting venetian pit games because of this, nice service yo

not that I really rambled too hard anyway, but my last trip I played 4 or 5 hours of $25-$100 pai gow at the V

really well run tournament all in all though, keep up good work!

And if you wanna play 12 hours and have an 8bb average stack at the final table, play the Rio deepstack
I agree.. the point of the deeper stacks is so you can play poker. Still 3 days for a tournament under $1500 sounds excessive. Two full days (12pm to 4am then 4pm to 4am is enough). A third day is ridiculous in my opinion.

IMO for say Event 1 they should've just played down to 11% or whatever that is just short of money on Day 1A/1B and then play down to a winner on Day 2.

But on the other hand you have like the WSOP Rio $235 Deepstack yesterday that had 577 entrants, we played to a winner after 12+ hrs but the moronic levels they introduced to try and force a winner in one day for 577 entrants from a starting stack of 15K was pretty stupid... some of the worst levels I've ever seen.. they would've been better off just not bother with those weird levels and start the final table on Day 2 or something.. plus Venetian has much better food... NoodleAsia kicks the **** outta the Rio poker kitchen..

Busted 34th for $1,013 in the 3rd to last hand before the end of play tonight. AK no good vs AA aipf for a ~340K pot at 3K/6K. Oh well, at least I get to play the WSOP $1,500 6max!

So I was playing the 10pm nightly at Caesar's, and a guy at the FT with me (busted 6th, blehh) said that two 60 something guys got into a fight at the V during the Deepstack. He said they were on separate tables, with their chairs against each other. Supposedly one of the guys said something to the other about moving his chair back bc it kept bumping into his. Well, I guess other guy didn't heed the warning, and was slapped, Rick James style, across the face with an open palm. Guy at my FT said he asked one of the floor what was going to happen (i.e. are they getting booted? Disqualified from tourney? etc) but they wouldn't tell him. Anyone else witness this??

Ty sir! First thing that came to my mind when I was posting about it. Anyone have any info?? Was at the V early this morning, getting in a session before having to leave for the airport, but the dealer I asked had no clue (which makes sense, bc she was the morning shift).

Yeah, that's unfortunate though. There shouldn't be any favoritism when it comes to matters like this. They should have hard and firm rules in place, no matter who the offender(s) are. Do you witness other acts of turning a blind eye by the V staff towards regulars when it is clearly wrong to do so? I've mainly played at the V the 6 or 7 times I've been to Vegas, and never really witnessed anything as such.

Thing I don't get, a poker room like the V's, with the insane amount of players they get, why ruin (or run the risk of) your integrity by bending the rules for regulars. I mean, so what if the regular gets offended that things weren't bent in his favor, and decides to never play there again. It's not like they will be hurting for business or have trouble filling up their tables.

Way too much testosterone at the V this month...... isn't that were most of the WSOP daily bust-outs are headed?

Your story is a little off, and I answered it in the other thread. No regular was given any favor as it was someone I had never seen before who received the penalty.

Ah, then it's no different than last year. Guys bust out of bracelet events then go straight to the V, where they go busto again and have a meltdown. Good times.

Just one quick question. For the $550 and $340 events when do they usually make the money?

Thank you
