Based on the trailers, very terrified. Yes, TERRIFIED! That the make the Joker a sympathetic character.

I'm bored with everyone trying to one up each other with the new Joker portrayals.
My personal favorite has always been Cesar Romero but I say leave it at Heath Legder and leave it alone. Will not watch!

Despite the breathtaking advances we've made with chat bots, I'm looking forward to it. No, we'll never top Cesar Romero. But I really like Joaquin Phoenix movies, so off I go.

Excellent performance by Joaquin. The violent scenes almost too much for me. His acting capability is truly there though. Hope he went out and had a huge meal after filming was done. I do not know what was more brutal the violent scenes or looking at him without his shirt off.

Joaquin Phoenix is frigging amazing and this movie is great but I just couldn't get myself to like it very much because this Joker, while absolutely amazing, is only tangentially related to the canon Jokers that I feel like it would have been better as a standalone movie.
