ooo forgot the stones, they is most def a top spot. on a slightly braggy other note, being friends with ron woods son as a kid, i get to say that rons strat plugged into a practice amp lying on the couch was the first guitar i ever played

Other than Keith Richards, the only other guy in the running for me is Lou Reed.

Of course he is deceased, so maybe that puts him out of the running? One person did mention John Lennon though...

I guess most of you guys are not into the same kind of music as I am, Lou's work with the Velvet Underground was awesome and extremely influential.
