i played sports against Eli Manning all my life starting with Biddy Basketball when we were prolly 8...at the time we thought it was awesome that Archie Manning was at all of our biddy ball games.

also, david duke, former leader of the kkk (also ran for president and governor of louisiana) went to my high school

Distant cousins of the wright brothers on my mothers side, she was adopted though so not actually blood related.

My cousin works for SNL and Lorne attended his wedding, that's as close to a famous relative as I've got afaik.

Edit: I read it to mean related to at first. As far as ties to famous people I worked at a grocery store in Indianapolis in 07 when the colts won the super bowl and tony dungy used to come through twice a week in the evening and just hang out for an hour or so on a regular basis, probably the nicest coach of all time irl. Also Jared from subway lives near me and would come through, he went to my mothers high school.

For basketball fans(old ones) I regurlary play ball with louie dampier who is kentuckys all time leading scorer and ABA all time leading scorer. Hes 68 and still shoots the lights out with a bad shoulder. Hell of an awesome dude too.

I'm good friends with, and used to roommate with (2006-ish), the original drummer for Marilyn Manson (played with MM up until Smells Like Children era). He toured with him on the Nine Inch Nails Downward Spiral tour. Lots of crazy stories, pics, etc... Needless to say there were a lot of drugs consumed and shenanigans abound in that house.

I was the accountant for Larry Hillbloom the "H" in the shipping company DHL. What an different dude. Lived in Saipan and was an amateur pilot. Died in a plane crash over an uninhabited island in the marianas. Estate worth a billion plus. Kids from all over the south pacific were coming with hands open looking for a big pay day. Turns out 3 kids made out big due to dna match to a mole Larry had removed several years prior when he had plastic surgery for another plane crash he was in. I did one tax return for the guy in which he wrote a check to the irs for $52,000,000.
