What Fashion Trend Are you Waiting to go Away? What Fashion Trend Are you Waiting to go Away?

My parents couldn't believe that kids in the 70's wore overalls to school. Overalls to my parents were the badge of extreme rural poverty in the early 50's. The idea that middle class kids would choose to wear overalls seemed absurd to them. Perhaps rightly. I sure never wore overalls, but I'll rat out my dumbass brother for doing it.

My dad could never understand why I wore jeans (or dungarees, as he called them), for the same reason as your parents didn't get the overalls.

I never wore overalls either. But my girlfriend in high school looked damn cute in 'em.

Somewhere, Junior Samples grins an evil grin.

Yeah...I mean I was thinking more of KISS rules/Disco Sucks type fashion when I wrote that. Basically Hyde from that 70s show. Boots, Boss hair, and Baditutde.

tattoo,s for sure. they are all over everyone nowadays and are nothing special.

plus wait until you get older and have one that starts to fade and stretch out and look horrible. especially when you have them all over.

I'm not sure what fashion trend needs to go away. But after a few days in Vegas I can assure you that for any current female fashion trend (now or at a later date) there should be an upper weight limit on any woman wanting to follow said trend.

There should be an upper weight limit on women who want to go out in public, irrespective of fashion choices.

Kind of discriminatory iyam. What about people who are around them in private.

Larry King still rocks the suspenders. Tell his 9 wives he's not a snappy dresser!

Way off topic...and I don't know any backstory...but in my book you can't say (or allude) to losing an avatar bet in your location. Tipping people off that it is a bet takes the sting out of having an embarrassing avatar.

the best was only made for the avatar not avatar and location, plus regardless my normal avatar is one I have had for ~5yrs so for it to flipped to what it is now people would realize it wasnt by choice

A fashion trend, I guess isn't really clothes, but the explosion of people riding fixed-gear bikes sort of screwed up my head. At first, they were the bastion of bike messengers and ex-messengers, and served as a status symbol and a symbol for recognition, but now, you see a bunch of people slow-poking on racing bikes. Riding very slow on a track bike is like driving a Ferrari in the slow lane.

lol :P

Larry King as America's fashion compass.

That said, he has made them a trademark which transcends fashion. Kinda like Tom Landry and his trademark hat.

The only way you will get a disease if you go to some sht hole scratcher artist. Catching something is basically non existant. Most people don't care if their tattoo looks different b/c it won't really happen until you are probably in your 50's.
