I was on board with that sentiment right up until the ending.

Most definitely, loved the ending
Spoiler:
I don't care much about the nature of the simulation as per say, nor about any corniness it holds, but moreso about the mirror-effect assertion that if an exact duplicate atom-per-atom simulation of the real world is possible, then said reality is also most likely a simulation.

I enjoyed Devs. Agree ending was meh. I did enjoy listening to the Binge Mode podcast on it after.

Plot Against America was good, not great.

I'm trying a complete 30 Rock rewatch right now, well maybe a complete season 1 anyway, we'll see. In the old bloated 20-something episode broadcast seasons there are always gonna be a few duds and I just hit one early, I think ep 4, the poker game w Jack setting up Liz Lemon on a lesbo date. Eh, they can't all be brilliant. Still a top ten sitcom all-time for me, at its best it's sublime. I appreciate all the homages to other legendary sitcoms, especially Mary Tyler Moore.

The Joy of Painting, with Bob Ross. It's hypnotic.

Finished the latest season of The Last Kingdom and the last season of Brockmire. Both are really good, but Brockmire this season has been brilliant.

I'm liking Black Sails, it's Starz applying their golden Spartacus touch to pirate culture. Like a fun B movie version of quasi-history with a lot of naked women and assorted vice/perversity.

Finsihed binging The Widow, with Kate Beckinsale, about a woman who sees her dead husband on a newscast in Kinshasa, and goes off to find him.

It's absurd but moves at a breakneck speed.

Beckinsale, at age 46, is just about the most beautiful woman alive, too.

Natalie Wood: What Remains Behind was really well done. What a fascinating/sad life she had. Co-produced by her daughter Natasha who is also a knockout. Not ashamed to admit it got a little dusty in my house at times.

We finished Tales From the Loop I mentioned it already, but I wanted to give it one more kudo. It is probably not for everyone's taste but we loved it. It is so hard to describe because there isn't much like it out there. So much of what we see lately doesn't really stand out as all that different.

Started Peaky Blinders It is about a crime family in England right after WWI. Solid cast. So far really good.

Dead to Me Ugh. We really liked the first season but season 2 jumped the shark right out of the gate.

Just finished S1. I watched it for a bit when it first came out and couldn't get in to it. This time I'm really enjoying it and am looking forward to the next season.

Found 1st 3 episodes of Love Life with Anna Kendrick. She's magnetic as usual. A step up from typical rom/com. Enjoyed. Not enough to recommend subscribing to whatever start up channel it's on.

It gets better every season. Plus I loved the mix of characters from Treasure Island and real-life historical figures.

I watched about 20 minutes of Tales From the Loop and just couldn't get into it so I stopped. I thought Peaky Blinders was great and didn't like season one of Dead to Me at all and have no interest in more of that.

I have HBO thru cox cable so get this new HBO max for free and got it up and running to confirm. I will probably wait a few weeks till the episodes all run before watching that show. I still haven't finished "Dummy" with her on Quibi.

Yes, he does. I recall his painting a mountain scene, with stream, trees galore; and then he says, let's put a little cabin right here by the stream..............

It was probably the first and last time I watched him on TV. I see Bob died July, 4 1995. Praise the Lord.

I thought that show was fantastic. Jane Leavy is freaking adorable and the music just works. Most music centric TV shows are failures but I really thought this worked.

I watched the first episode of Space Force and really struggled to get through it. It all just felt so forced and awkward to me, and I'm normally a fan of Carrell. Can't imagine continuing on unless I hear it gets significantly better, but I doubt that.
