Standard format, different crime each episode with a long running back story causing it's own complications.
Well made, good characters and some pretty funny moments. Surprisingly enjoyable.

Barbarians Rising (History Channel) is a great show about the Roman era. Man, it would suck to be a soldier back then and even worse to be whomever the Romans were attacking killing

Not Safe With Niki Glaser is a damn funny show....just watched one episode so far, and it was another female comic and Jim Jeffries, and they talked about the female orgasm and where the best place on a body is "to finish." Never heard of Glaser before this, but she is a funny, personable host and I enjoyed this...will watch again.

I was skeptical of this one at first but by the end of the 1st ep I was intrigued and liked it more and more each ep.

Watched season 1 of Powers and up to date with season 2. It's a fun show. Comparable in quality to a show like Arrow.

I just watched the first couple of episodes of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend on Netflix. I guess it is a CW show and season 2 will be there in the fall. I am finding it borderline brilliant. It sounds bad but its very entertaining (so far). It's sort of an hour long comedy/dramedy that is also a musical. In any event it is very different and unique.

Stranger Things was mediocre at best. Tried to be all Stephen King/Spielberg/Goonies/80s, but it was so bloated and poorly written. This might have worked as a movie, but my god the amount of unncessary crap in this was just awful.

Just finished Season 1 of Bosch on Amazon, liked it a lot but the ending was underwhelming. Good acting across the board, especially Welliver. Nice to see Marlo Stanfield play a good guy for a change.

About 3 eps into Season 2, so far I think it is superior to the first season. More interesting case overall and the show feels more sure of itself.
