Best ending ever was Season 1 episode 2. Laura whispering followed by the jazzy dance was way ahead of it's time. Not to mention, the backwards/forwards scene.

BBT and the simpsons make your top 5 EVER? I'll just assume you've seen like 7 or 8 shows ever.

Agree on BBT, but I have difficulty comprehending how anyone could make a top 2 list and not put the (early) Simpsons in there. Different strokes for different folks. My take:

1) Simpsons
2) Seinfeld
3) Scrubs

IT SAYS MELTDOWNCITYS TOP 3 TV SERIES OBV. I was just messing around a bit, cant people disagree a bit on here. I thought being and over opinionated jackass was half the fun of posting on internet forums. Plus I was being half serious, if you really think BBT ( which i watch and is semi entertaining and has it's moments) is a top 5 comedy ever let alone a top 5 SHOW ever i'm forced to assume you haven't seen many shows.

Alf has a special place in my heart from watching it as a kid , but I think anyone putting it in their lists I think has to rewatch some old episodes.

Got my hands on season 1 and managed to watch 5 episodes before I had to stop. It's downright horrible.

The Shield
X-Files
Arrested Development
Seinfeld

Tie between 2 medium running shows that nobody ever watches/watched:

Supernatural
Farscape

If I were trapped on an island I'd leave Seinfeld off the list because I've seen every episode 10+ times due to reruns on TBS for the last 15 years.

Bump to say I watched entire series of shows I had never seen based on favorites in this thread.

Quick reviews;

Oz-9/10. After a while though, I began to wonder why anyone in prison would believe anything anybody else says in there. If someone is being nice to you for no reason, they are either going to **** you or have you **** someone for them.

Carnivale-9/10. Wish they would have continued this interesting show. Clancy Brown with that growly voice of his plays a great villain.

Twin Peaks-8/10. What a bizarre, bizarre show. Ray Wise cracked me up. I loved the hammy, over the top acting. Way ahead of its' time. Combination mystery, supernatural, comedy, drama. Too many exceptional individual scenes and story lines to list. Although, I rate it lower overall than the other 2, this is the one I'm most likely to watch again.

Having been on a hardcore TV binge via Netflix, I've got to say -

1. Breaking Bad
2. Dexter
3. Mad Men
4. Skins
5. Californication

-haven't seen more than a few eps of Oz or Carnivale so I'll be checking those out and I watched the first ep of the Wire and didn't super like it, but seeing as how everyone on 2p2 loves it, I guess I'll give it a bit more.
