It is astonishingly bad. Incomprehensibly bad. Like, one of the worst movies ever made bad.
I would have taken gummies just to see it in the theater. Even after 50 years drug free. Talk About Movies: Part 4

As a playful experiment I used Bard AI to help me write a mini-review of a new movie that I just saw on TV. It took a few tries and it does make mistakes but it came out pretty polished. Final result:

Reality (2023) is a staid, yet faithful, re-imagining of the verisimilar account of FBI agents interrogating and ransaking the domicile of a congenial young woman who occupies a high-security government office position. The motion picture takes place predominantly in the woman's domicile, and she is alleged to have divulged top-secret information. The film's lure is that the entire dialogue is transcribed from FBI records. The renowned Sydney Sweeney, who is known for her role in the television series Euphoria, gives a commendable performance, yet the narrative could have benefited from additional heft to make it more engaging. Still, it was instructive to see how the FBI works to deconstruct a suspect's story. Grade B.

It’s not AI. It’s just a compiler. So basically, it’s plagiarizing other reviewers.

Well, actually in this case first draft of the review came from me alone. I asked Bard to just revise it to read better and correct errors and then to embellish it. But I see now that it does end up looking like a typical review.

Anyway, its a decent re-enactment movie.

Into the Spider-verse is another masterpiece from that team. Just astoundingly beautiful, with a fun story. Actually, it’s gets pretty dark, too.

I was curled up in my seat like I was 12 again. Amazing movie. See it on the big screen.

I just spent 2 weeks visiting my parents in Missouri. We watched The Fabelmans and then the Top Gun sequel. Having not seen the original, they didn't know or care about that silly Maverick-Goose-Ice universe, but I think my dad liked the fast planes, and my mom always likes Tom Cruise.

For getting along with 80ish-90ish relatives and still saying sane, both films get high marks in my book.

Fast X

U know what to expect at this point from these movies.

I think it was better then 8 and 9? They are aweful movies, but i always have 2 hours of fun watching them. Its just so ridiculous.

Jason Momoa was a very good addition, he clearly had alot of fun with the role. The most jarring thing is that everyone is aware of what kinda movie they are in and how the public views them, except Vin Diesel. He's the only one that still takes these movies extremely serious and acts with a stick up his ass. The scenes with him and Momoa are just hilarious because of this.

I thought King Richard was excellent. I wanted to wait so I wasn’t biased by the Oscars debacle and Will Smith absolutely deserved to win. I grew up playing and watching tennis, so expected to roll my eyes a bit like we do at poker movies. But they nailed everything.

What I already knew about the story was so well done I felt a ton of nostalgia, and what I didn’t know was interesting to give more context to the story. The Williams sisters doing what they did, coming from where they came from, and having the impact they had, is simply incredible. But this movie is mostly about how their parents made it happen for them. Very inspiring.

And if you think they’re taking liberties with the truth they show a TON of receipts during the credits and it’s awesome.

I thought Will Smith was not great in that role...obviously over-acting. But I liked the movie, as I come from a tennis background, as well.

BlackBerry is good. If you like biographical origin stories like Air/The Founder/etc, then you should like this. It's also fun to see Dennis from IASIP in a different (and balder!) role. I would have no problem recommending this to almost anybody.

Watched Shutter Island again today. The soundtrack is terrific, and the film makes more sense in a second viewing. Highly recommended.

Michelle Williams and the always great Patricia Clark are standouts. Di Caprio is excellent.

Blackberry was good…enjoyed it quite a lot, especially Glen Howerton’s performance.

It is taken from a book called Losing the Signal, which is worth a read imo.

It’s honestly the best superhero movie to date.

Caught a screening on Sunday at the new Alamo Drafthouse in Chicago.

It goes big without losing focus or descending into incoherence. The animation is stunning, there are like five different styles all blended together.

My favorite Spider-Man was the fat, orange cat who coughs up a fur ball spiderweb.

I could see that. As I’m sure you know, the real Richard Williams comes off borderline insane in some interviews, so it didn’t feel too far fetched to me. Except maybe Will’s charisma.

I’ve been liking the Spiderverse soundtrack so interested to see it in the movie. Not sure if Metro Boomin is this threads cup of tea

but after reviewing additional thread evidence ten or so times, it's my fault for net noticing the quoted footage from Universal Studios India started with M6QO, which when translated into indica license plate can sound a whole lot like MSchu.
looking through the glass from the outside, i'll ask you ponder the potential of being out matched in this particular skirmish by a wascally wabbit.

I've promised myself that I won't lose more than a couple night's sleep deciding.
