Weird: The Al Yankovic Story
Al Yankovic parodying his own life. Great fun.

Villa Rides! Staring Yul Bruner, Robert Mitchum, Charles Bronson (1968). The teaser promo is: Villa rages! Villa lusts! Villa kills!

My kind of movie.

Lol. I watch a movie about once every six months (and check this thread occasionally for ideas) because I can never find anything that appeals to me. I stopped the trailer halfway through because I decided I would try to check it out. Then Dom posts that. Guess I won't bother now.

It sucks that was posted, but it's still very much worth watching imo.

Any mod reading this should put spoiler tags around that post though.

Yikes. How can you only watch a movie about once every six months? How did you get through sheltered COVID times?

Tons of other good to great movies available to you. Given some criteria, posters here would be happy to recommend some.

Its been a while since I saw it but a small thing that still bothers me about Riders of Justice:
Spoiler:

The supposedly dangerous motorcycle gang is always shown riding in cars never on motorcycles.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire certainly deserves its place on the list. The final scene is up there with the greatest final scenes in movie history IMO.

Saw clerks 3.

If you are a Kevin Smith fan, you will like it.

Other viewers will be hit and miss because to enjoy it fully you really need to know Clerks and the story of how it was made.

Or relate to the overall theme of the movie.

It hit a little too close to home for me but I still enjoyed much of it.

Then watched Bullet Train with Brad Pitt.

Very "Smoking Aces" meets John Wick.

Which makes sense because the director also directed John Wick.

One film that should be seen on a good screen, the colors pop in many scenes.

lol, sorry, I didn't think it's a spoiler, it's like a TV Guide synopsis. Sorry if that one sentence stops someone from watching it, tho.

Top Gun: Maverick wins Best Picture from the National Board Of Review.

It's Tom Cruise's world, we just live in it.

I don't think it was so much a spoiler as it was a personal point of view. We won't understand what the movie was really about until Phat Mack reviews it.

Saw Top Gun and was not impressed at all.
Very unrealistic and predictable. D-

I think this is a plug for Phat Mack's review.

I don't think Dom's offhand comment is a spoiler.

We should all post our top ten movies. We can do better than the 1,627 that were allowed to vote.

I'm very far from being a spoiler nit, and personally I think a lot of people take it way too far at times, but lol at saying that comment isn't a spoiler. Literally all you have to do is read the plot to understand that.

I'm not bothered by most so-called spoilers. Maybe knowing the mother is really Norman in Psycho would bother me, but even that might not. There's more to films than plot twists.

Pretty much the same thing for me. When the lights go down and the projector starts up, they are pretty much dealing with a blank slate. Story over plot twists every time.

That's great and all, but the whole point was about that comment being a major spoiler, not whether it bothered you specifically. It already stopped one person from watching the movie, so clearly not everybody feels the same way as you. There is a reason they don't give away major plot twists in movie taglines, ya know.

Wrapping a couple of spoiler tags around a post that could negatively impact someone's enjoyment of a movie didn't really seem like a big deal to me, but that's fine. Carry on.
