Anyone remember this giant magnapinna in the Gulf of Mexico a couple years ago? This photograph was taken about 1.5 miles underwater. Taken by a roving vehicle owned by Shell Oil company.

This thread made me waste my entire afternoon yesterday reliving my youth fishing by reading Wikipedia. All the deep sea stuff I find pretty fascinating.
