To me that one is worse than Okona. At least Okona has some humor in it. The clip show is hideously bad.

Such a sad way to send off Pulaski.

Oh yeah it is definitely worse than okona. It's so bad I don't even really count it as a real episode. Clearly zero effort was put into it and not a single **** was given. But okona was a real episode where people were presumably trying to make a good 47 minutes of television.

I've seen all of TNG & DS9, and just started TOS. Liking it so far, although I can see why some people aren't fans of it.

Just hit the Kahn origin episode. Pretty awesome.

I got the entire TOS on bluray remasters + all 10 movies remastered recently. So will be rewatching...

Kirk's sometime love interest from the first season, Yeoman Rand (Grace Lee Whitney) has died. She was 85.

Am I crazy, or is Voyager clearly better than DS9?

Ha.

I've seen all of DS9, and only the first season of Voyager, so it's not an even match just yet. But yeah, I'm probably in the minority here.

The later seasons of DS9 might be the best in the franchise.

I'd go for TNG.

Obviously DS9 doesn't have a horrible first and mediocre second series, but Sisco is no Picard and i didn't care for Worf being shoehorned in to prop the ratings up, and even less so the Jadzia Dax relationship.

DS9 obviously miles better than Voyager tho, which was ok till they started thrashing the Borg in every encounter.

DS9 succeeded in spite of Avery Brooks. Sisco was almost a supporting character. Quark, Garrick, & Odo were the real stars of DS9.

Huh, I always liked Sisqo

I didn't like captain sisqo, and would put TNG first overall, myself.

The highs of tng were higher, I don't think any DS9 episode was as good as Measure of a Man, Yesterday's Enterprise, or The Inner Light, but DS9 was definitely more consistent than even season 3-7 TNG.

In the pale Moonlight is right there with all of those.

TNG never really clicked for me, nor did Voyager. I wouldn't mind revisiting DS9 though.

IMO, TOS has aged much better than TNG.

I'm also watching TOS for the first time and really liking it. There's a lot of twilight zone style twist episodes it seems, which are hit and miss, but I'm liking it more than I liked DS9.

Star Trek TNG S2E05 Loud As A Whisper

Someone got paid to write this tree-hugging hippy old bollocks? Someone employed a 80's hair wearing charisma vacuum to play a great deaf and mute diplomat/mediator?

This was total and utter crap.

What would Kirk Think:
