Angel over Xander doesn't count since Angel was there as romantic interest/sex symbol and Xander was comedic relief. You're supposed to think Angel was hotter.
Edit: Just realized that was the point you were making.

Oh, and Dominic, I will take Deanna(Lucy Lawless) over Number 6 and Boomer any day. I thought Zena was ugly, but her blond hair and Australian(New Zealander?) accent on BSG are just so hot. Accents count for this right?

Wouldn't debate their professionalism, Gene Roddenberry did a great job of eliminating *ism from his universe.

But I knew at 8 years old I was a leg man by watching Uhura cross those booted legs while working her profession at the comm station.

I can't think of any shows with hot male stars that have male co-stars who could compete in any hotness category wherein I liked the co-star better than the star...except Grey's Anatomy. Other roommates and I have had to have a bit of a talk with a number of them who will spend an hour in there after a shower.

I remember when I first moved moved to L.A. I couldn't believe the sheer number of beautiful people there, both female and male. I would say things I never thought I'd ever hear myself say like, "my god that guy is beautiful." It was very intimidating.

but then after a few months I realized that most of these beautiful men were either gay or dumb as a post so really, we weren't competing for the same kind of woman!
