We could watch Beauty and the Beast...

Want to buy razors off Amazon. I need something that's like $11 and worth buying (to get to free shipping).

Thoughts?

replacement blades for your new razor?

a book?

Get Amazon's program for 80 bucks a year that gives you free two-day shipping on nearly everything they sell themselves and not through a third-party vendor using their site. It dramatically speeds up delivery and make sit much more reliable overall. I found without it, Amazon's service was starting to get kind of stinky.

It's pretty cool to get all kinds of stuff, even food and really heavy stuff, for zero shipping costs, no taxes, and two-day delivery.

3D, I'm actually buying replacement blades for my razor with it. haha. Sorry. My bad.

A book is an option, but I have so many I haven't yet read that I feel silly getting another.

Blarg, if I thought that I could justify that much in shipping cost, I'd do it. I just don't spend nearly $80 in shipping per year, though.

If I bought more of my food and such on Amazon, I might. I don't even know what I'd buy from Amazon for food. Cereal....maybe some boxed rice or something? What sorts of foods do you buy?

Solo, what about Christmas gifts? I'm convinced Amazon Prime pays for itself in my case. Cd's, books, electronics, etc. It all shows up in two days with no shipping costs.

Love the idea of Babylon 5. I have access to S1-S3 but I know I wouldn't have time to participate.

Do you spend $80/year in taxes?

How much do you spend on gas driving to stores?

From Amazon I buy kipper snacks, Indian spice mixes, yoghurt cultures, kitchen appliances, pots, books, DVD's, magazine subscriptions, computer cables, computer accessories, tooth whiteners, a clothes steamer, occasionally vitamins, MP3 players, cameras, office stuff, earphones, videogames, coat racks, etc. I've been looking through their food stuff off and on and may buy more over time, but I mostly buy food locally. They recently instituted a $1 shipping charge on their food, but I'm not sure if that applies to their Amazon Prime members or not.

Blarg, thanks for the ideas. I might pay that much in taxes. I would think so. Good point.

Solo,

$11 worth of candy.

Solo,
a wooden, somewhat flexible, yardstick. <!thwap!>
09-08-2009 , 08:39 PM
buy 2 and give one to the teacher who was brought to tears.
09-08-2009 , 08:43 PM
Solo,

10lbs of Jelly Bellies

A bit more than $11 but totally worth it.
09-08-2009 , 08:51 PM
I like the yardstick idea. Not bad.

I was like, "a bit more than $11? 10 pounds? heh." And then I clicked the link. lol. That's a crapload of jelly beans.

I guess its safe to say Amazon doesnt sell booze online or that woulda been suggested. How awesome would that be? You know it would be cheaper then at a store too.

I don't know what you call that ^ but I call it mean!

ok, maybe it's not all your fault but I will miss her . She used to make me laugh. She talked RHWoNJ with DB and really who else would do that? I will miss the Hobby Horse. It all seems pointless now sob

I call it explaining how she made me feel. Just because I said some unflattering things it doesn't make it mean.

I'm on Dominics side here, its been a while since I posted here but I always took HobbyHorses posts as very agressive and unfair when she got into arguments, and it was NEVER her fault, typical irrate woman that is.

Also its been so long since I posted here that I've both managed to get a girlfriend AND gotten dumped by that same gf because she didnt feel the spark but everything else was perfect lol, we still see each other like before but not in a "official" since, yeah women, love em hate em, cant live without em

Holy ****. You mentioned this to me before, but I didn't realize it was quite that good a deal. I am signing up for this ASAP.

How do I know my wife loves me? She told me about a surprise gift on the way home. This usually means a book. Better than just any book, she bought me The Copyeditor's Handbook: A Guide for Book Publishing and Corporate Communications (with exercises and answer keys)

Ugh it's always something. Either a $5K dental bill or the check engine light. Ugh, I is skeered. I can't really afford any financial nonsense right now.

A check engine light could also be something fairly minor, but I agree it is scary. Last time I had to have a check engine light checked it just needed a good tune up, FWIW.

Mine usually stays on because the mechanic forgot to reset the sensor when he changed the oil.
