My administrative assistant took a day off last week to watch the filming of an indie movie with Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldana. What do you work with to have an assistant?

Rotten Tomatoes has it at 66%/70%, so we weren't expecting that much. Completely blown away. everything I look for in a fun popcorn flick. executed perfectly. Robert Redford is the ****ing man. Going to watch Enemy of the State and Crimson Tide next.
rather enjoyed Trance to be honest... DB didn't cheap out on the story delivering the nuts all the way to the end. to those that consider it a Inception rip off... f*ck off mate, the movie is completely original.

Who called it an Inception rip off? It's nothing like Inception, it was actually good.

Trance was meh. It was okay but nothing more.

I can't help it, I'm getting excited. Costner actually delivers a few great lines in the trailer. I love when Clark asks, "Can't I just tell people I'm your son?" and Pa Kent says, "You ARE my son."

Busto, I still can't believe you thought Watchmen was actually good.

I can't believe you thought it was that bad. I was very entertained. If Man of Steel is anything like it, I'll be satisfied.

I not only thought it was bad, I thought it was absolutely disgusting.

Snyder is the a unique director in that every single film he has made has been steadily worse than the one before it.

Man of Steel will probably break that streak, though, as no film could be worse than Sucker Punch.

Never saw Sucker Punch. I've been meaning to give it a try.

Watchmen was the worst theater going experience I've ever had.

So Zach Snyder doesn't care about any of you fools and has made this new Superman movie just for me. I can live with that.
04-17-2013 , 04:27 PM
I will say I like the trailer.

I dug Watchmen too! I haven't seen the Owl movie and Sucker Punch was a ****ing train wreck. The new man of Steel trailer got me all choked up

Could I get my fellow Loungafari to recommend excellent film soundtracks?

I've got to check it out, Cro. Even Snyder's fanboys have talked about how disastrous a film it was. That's not something to miss.

Plus, my favorite film podcasters at Yeah, It's that Bad trashed the movie in such splendid fashion that I really want to see the film firsthand.

Funny... I loved both WM and SP thank you very much

both are visual masturbation. I have no idea what studio he uses... but they produce some of the best generated imagery.

my post above was mis-quoted(GBP04)... it should have been a different quote

You Only Live Twice - John Barry
Blade Runner - Vangelis
Star Wars - John Williams
Singin in the Rain

A film that contains some absolutely great tracks, and some truly dreadful ones, is the soundtrack to the original Wicker Man

I've never listened to the Blade Runner soundtrack, only heard it in the movie. This is quite nice. Thanks for the recommendation.

Indeed. Watchmen is the greatest graphic novel ever written turned into one of the worst films ever made.
