How has The Last House On The Left not been mentioned yet? One of Wes Craven's early films. I think it's at least as disturbing and twisted as I Spit On Your Grave.

Should I be concerned with the fact, that I have seen every damn movie mentioned in this thread except Blue Velvet?

Yep, and without having seen Salo, I'm pretty sure Gummo wins this one hands down. I was serioulsy disturbed while watching this movie. It's from the director who made the movie Kids http://imdb.com/title/tt0113540/ at least in Kids, there was some underlying message. Gummo is absolutely devoid of any message.

The heroes of our story if you could call them that, ride their bikes around town killing cats to sell them, during their misadventures they stumple upon three teenage girls practicing being strippers and a friend who is pimping out his ******ed sister.

I do not, I repeat, I do not recommend this movie, but it certainly fits the criteria.
From me, earlier in the thread.

I vote for "Funny Games" by Michael Haneke. I had an honest to God panic attack watching that movie.

It's sad that a lot of these twisted films are actually pretty bad, because when one is twisted and good it just makes it so intriguing to watch.

I thought Memento was twisted in a non disturbing way and was also a truly awesome film.

I vote for "The Men Behind the Sun". Really disturbing movie about Japanese medical experiments during WWII.

RichGangi,
I recommend skipping out on gummo. I saw it shortly after it came out on vhs before I was even in high school and it left me shocked and disturbed. No actual content whatsoever.

Twisted, as in plot and story line.....not perverse or disgusting. You'll watch this movie and your response will be something like......On NO, not AGAIN!

After Hours

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088680/plotsummary

Definitely worth a take. If your response is the same as mine was when I first saw it, this flick will draw you right in.

Seriously. The one I saw about 20 years ago had a narrator who looked like John Holmes, and one of the "faces of death" was a parachutist who floated into an alligator farm. They showed a guy parachuting, then cut to a shot of the gator farm, then cut again to some gators tearing up a big piece of cloth that wasn't even the same design as the parachutists. I wasn't horrified.

And the narrators name was something like Dr Michael B. Gross. Be gross, get it?

The horrible thing is, everything that happened in this movie was based on real life events, and they used some real human cadavers too. Absolutely sickening.

I loved this movie. I saw it when it came out and a bunch of seniors got up and walked out. I was in stitches, and my friends kept telling me it was basically like someone was following me around with a camera. It's been copied a few times since, and its maniacal energy many times over, and was even remade with the poor lead who I guess couldn't get any other work at the time.

Awesome circularity to it, too. I was dying at the end when he came back to his sh*tty old job and was absurdly grateful to do so, making him even more haplessly pathetic -- and sympathetic -- than when the movie started. It was too ahead of its time and made hardly any money.

lol @ you people who said Gummo. That's not even the most ****ed up Korine movie. Ken Park is the answer, and it's not close. I guarantee anybody who has ever seen that movie will tell you it's the most "twisted" movie they've ever seen.
