happy thanksgiving guys

Hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving and ate themselves into a food coma of oblivion. Good times.

I played 8 hours of 1/1 100 max on e-tables over the last 4 days. Hilarity ensued. Man I miss online poker.

Lol I love that question.

It was 1/1 against methamphetamine raging tweekers. Losing would have been difficult, but not impossible.

Haha. Nice.

All right. I have two deer steaks and no grill. What's the best method? What should I marinate these babies in (if anything)?
11-26-2011 , 07:52 PM
Do you know what part of the deer the steaks are from? Post a pic if you aren't sure.

Paging Fish. Fish to the NC Thread.

No idea about deer steaks. TR requested.

Go outside, get wind burn, take photos, and post them here.

nm can't get a pic right now.

It's labeled "V Steak 11"

Not sure if that just means it's the 11th bag though? I'll try to get a pic sometime tonight here.

I read that too quickly and moved the "a" in that sentence. Had to re-read it when I thought "That's not really something you should be publicly announcing on the internet."

Having the gf around to my place on Tuesday night for dinner. I need to cook something impressive.

I didn't really think this through. Help!

Klavs,

Stuffed chicken is tasty and easy. Make the stuffing, fillet the chicken, cook, voila. Best of all, if you eff it up, you can just tell her, "That's how we make it in Australia."

Oooh, good idea.

And that was my plan hahaha. "Sorry if you don't like it, I guess it's an acquired taste, and if you're not from Australia I guess it takes time to like it"

The only impressive thing I know how to make is Chocolate Mousse if you want to try that out. I have pictures of the final product, just not on the computer. yummy!

This is not directed at any of you but I don't get men. I hate superficial people. I really dislike people who care so much about image, money. Ugh.

Pretty sure that's not restricted to men.

This should be in our Outdoors thread.

But, I will forgive you.

I like grinning the best after marinating in Soy Sauce, Red Wine, Worcestershire Sauce, couple drops of liquid smoke, olive oil, garlic (Powder is fine), Onion powder and whatever other spices you like.

I lieu of a grill I will usually do in slow cooker or pan fry. If Pan fry, I would just do the classic butter, garlic and onions. If slow cookering, I will use a can of beer, and then basically the stuff I marinate in.

If pan frying, I suggest #1 that it is a good cut of meat and do NOT overcook it unless you are one of those folks who only like well done shoe leather kind of stuff.

you're right, it's not. But some men are very focused on image, wouldn't you agree?
