Vacheron Constantin, A. Lange and Sohne, Audemars Piguet, Patek Phillipe, Richard Mille is my guess. Though personally I think diamonds in a Teutonic beauty like A. Lange and Sohne is blasphemy.

Sorry about the abbreviations but this is correct. They are some of the best brands out there for watches and cost quite a bit. Zenith and Jaeger-LeCoultre are 2 more brands that are excellent as well.

For 100k you could get an actual high quality watch. Not some mediocre Rolex with tons of diamonds on it.

Accuracy doesn't differ too much with mechanical movements, either.

It's around 4,000,000 swiss Kronor, which google tells me is around US$600,000.

Of course, the iced GMT isn't even the best diamond rolex.

BTW, do you really know any yuppies that buy rolexes? Most yuppies I know think "rolex = old fogey".

That Rolex above is one of the better gemmed out watches I've seen. IMO the colors look kinda cool. Not that I'd sport one though.

this is pretty much the only jeweled watch i ever liked.. i tried it on a few years ago in vegas and it's quite nice in person. a perfect "vegas" watch IMO. other than this rare exception, i think jewels belong on ladies watches..

As if omega doesn't have a fair bit of celebrity endorsements?

^ Don't like it (e: the last rolex that was posted). I, too, only like jewels on ladies watches. It's a sad thing that not many women are into watches or can afford expensive ones.

Come to think of it, I'm not much more of a rolex fan than the average poster here, but I really like some of the ladies' ones I've seen. Is it just me? Good thing I don't have a wife or serious girlfriend.

This is the only diamond watch I like. While Hublot doesn't use in house movement yet, they do do a good job of integrating different materials in to their cases to where a watch with diamonds and a rubber strap doesn't seem weird.

As an example of Lange not needing diamonds, the Uhrwerk Phantom. The semitransparent dial allowing you to see and charge the lume on the digits not used is just awesome.

Yeah I guess. I'm not saying Omega is a great brand, but they are definitely (in the eyes of most watch enthusiasts) more respectable than TAG. Pretty close to Rolex in terms of quality at a lower price(Although Omega is starting to increase all their prices to start competing with Rolex). I saw Audemars had some golfers endorsed that I had never heard of before-so I guess even the watches do it.

Yuppies don't buy $600 000 watches thats for sure, only middle eastern billionairres and super star athletes/ rappers buy things like that.

AP does it big time with their trillion special editions (jayz, shaq, montoya, etc) and ambassadors as well.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audemar...et#Ambassadors

ranking brands (around similar price points) is a futile effort IMO.. there can be points for either side and everyone is entitled to their opinion..

ie. When was the last time Omega came out with something as cool as the Tag v4 which is finally out of vaporware status.. Omega on the otherhand is putting their coaxial in more and more pieces which is cool too. This could probably go back and forth ad infinitum.

What does David and Cole use in this show? Really hard for me to tell because I'm watching on my phone. They both look like AP ROO's to me lol.

Edit: David's doesn't look as octagonal as an AP ROO...so nvm.
