It seems as though this thread is geared towards biglaw grinders and that's not really what I would like to do. I have never terribly worried about making cash hand over fist. Does that mean I will be able to go to a lower ranked school and still get a job defending criminal types?
I am still at the start of my search, so any help would be great.
For LSAT, get these books (and preferably do them in this order):
-powerscore logical reasoning bible
-powerscore logic games bible
-LSAC superprep
-every LSAT practic test there is (about 50 of them, you can buy the new ones on the LSAC website and the older ones are in books titles '10 real practice LSAT's,' 'The next 10...' etc. etc.
If you know you want to do public defender type work, my guess is that region should trump rank for you (assuming non t-14), but 2l's/3l's can answer this better.
