it's heavy blues rock and psych jams. i'd check out the road and night drive and if you don't like anything between those 2 you probably won't like the rest but there is some variety.

Haha, getting to that age myself dude. We try not to tag any particular genre but with the stuff we do it tends to come across as that.
As a collective we have LOADS of different inspirations.#

Gonna bump this thread for a band that includes a bunch of good friends of mine, Fairhaven. I would describe them as a mix of Kings of Leon and Coldplay. Overall very catchy and technically sound as well, IMO. Their 2nd CD is out now and getting some radio play in the northeast.

I never knew there was a Studio sub forum and found this for the first time today. I was heavily involved in music from 02-07 and it was my main source of income. I was always in bands, then opened a studio, then became a in demand engineer in the urban music genra, then a producer, then all I did was mix for a couple years. I had some contracts with larger labels and worked on an SSL for 2 years for mixing. THen I just got burnt out and the industry was changing again and nobody paid for music which meant nobody paid to record/mix it.

But... A quick listed to this 3 card guy and I think this is where hip hop is at now. Sounds fresh but old school. Retro in a way and I thought either the mash up stuff like Jay Z and Linkin Park was going to be big (it wasnt) or this kind of old school back to the roots hip hop would make it. Its a shame bc the first Kanye cd was amazing and honest and sounded great. I think he ruined hip hop be his own self progression and cockyness.
