oh, that's good.

I was thinking simply, "Forward, March!"

I'm now on my way on another trip, this time to a conference down in GA rather than any more dancing. I would have liked a few more nights in my bed and a few more home cooked meals, but there are people who want to hear about all the FORTRAN coding I've been doing. Weeeee.

We are Marching to Pretoria!!!

I'm with you and you're with me and
So we are all together,
So we are all together,
So we are all together.
Sing with me, I'll sing with you and
So we will sing together
As we march a long.

Chorus:
We are marching to Pretoria,
Pretoria, Pretoria,
We are marching to Pretoria,
Pretoria, Hurrah.

We have food, the food is good, and
So let us eat together, (3 times)
When we eat, it is a treat, and
So we will sing together,
As we march along.

I think it kind of fits the Lounge!!!

Now, my lovely bank, sends me a notice that "federal regulations limit the number of checks, preauthorized transfers, and withdrawals that can be made from any savings or money market savings account." And so they charged a withdrawal limit fee to my account of $12.00. $12.00 for transferring money between my accounts more than 6 times in one month, which I do all online. I had to have transferred more than 6 times between accounts before so why all of the sudden is this coming up, I wonder? However, I can make unlimited withdrawals/transfers between my accounts if I do it in person at the bank branch, at an ATM, or BY MAIL.

WTF is the point of having these two accounts tied to each if I'm limited in the number of times I can transfer between them? Oh and thank you for just taking money out of my account 2 weeks ago and not informing me until today. I think that I'm going to have a fun ol' chat with my bank tomorrow...

I hate bankers. Let's just send them all to the guillotine.
That is just sick and another way for the bank to make money off of you. I would seriously look for another bank. I can't even imagine our bank charging for something like this. Seems like when On-Line banking first started taking hold they wanted to charge for stuff you did in the bank but not on line, WTF!!!!

Pretty sure there's always been a limit on the number of MM withdrawals in a month.

I have to go to funeral number two this morning. Man, I hate those things.

It will likely be worse than the one yesterday because I know the relatives of this gal a lot better than the girl that was buried yesterday.

Over at work we just had to close our account and open a new one because of this. After 6, the account has to close no matter what.

It definitely defeats the purpose of having overdraft protection in the first place. If you wanted to keep much money in checking instead of savings, clearly you would be doing that already. This is probably some of that anti-terrorism stuff that has evolved into snooping on what even very ordinary people do with their money.

It's especially idiotic with businesses. What business wants to keep tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars, or even more, sitting around doing nothing in their checking account instead of earning interest?

This is the most ******ed thing I've yet to hear concerning banks...what is the difference between me transferring MY money between MY accounts on the computer (where I am limited to six) versus me transferring MY money between MY accounts at an ATM (where I have unlimited transfers/withdrawals)?

Why do I even want to put my money in a bank anymore anyway? Under the mattress seems so much more appealing...

I am going to close all my accounts and my credit card with them...this bank has done some sketchy things in the past too and I'm through with them.
02-25-2009 , 03:54 PM
FWIW the bank told me that they would make as many transfers as we wanted, as long as we phoned in to request them one by one first. It's the automatic transfers that were the problem.

Of course, it's the automatic transfers that you get an automatic transfer capability for in the first place ...

Lower half of her face is slightly too big for the rest of her face. The inner part of her eyebrows is too close to her eyes. Too much makeup, looks like her face might smudge off if you touch it. Earring looks like jizz.

I'll pass.

I'll take her for a while if thirddan is giving. I mean, she's way too crazy for me and I don't find her nearly as attractive as most males my age, but hey.
02-25-2009 , 06:51 PM
Landon - you're joking, right?

What about this pic - she still look ugly to you, Landon? I mean, granted, she's no Shawn Johnson...

Oh and now I'm curious thirddan - what gossip is there about Megan Fox? What kind of crazy are we talking about here?
02-25-2009 , 06:52 PM
If I got hepatitis from anyone, I'd want it to be her.
02-25-2009 , 06:59 PM
That pic's even worse. She looks a bit like Angelina Jolie, who I've also never found that attractive. She just looks skanky and crazy.

I am finding this thread from OOT endlessly fascinating...IMO they need to include chest hair too.

"Lower half of her face is slightly too big for the rest of her face." --Yep.
"The inner part of her eyebrows is too close to her eyes." -- Agree, pluckage is in order.
"Too much makeup, looks like her face might smudge off if you touch it." -- Agree, freakay
"Earring looks like jizz." -- What? Why must you bring jizz into this? Her earrings are cool.
