Wow im suprised Dwight from the Office didn't show up till the 3rd page. Easily the #1 reason I laugh while watching the office.

Kramer - Seinfeld
Dwight - The Office
Ari Gold - Entourage

I also think Hiro in Heroes is a funny character, but it isn't a sitcom, of course.

If it has to be current I'll go with:

Spanky Ham- Drawn Together

Krusty the Clown- The Simpsons

Kenny Blankenship- MXC (okay.. not a sitcom)

Sorry, all sitcoms suck nowadays... I only TiVo stand-up comedy, MXC and triggy happy TV nowadays... meh

If you're in the US, how do people get to see these British shows, i.e., Peep Show?

I always liked Buster better than GOB so that's my vote.

Collin and Ryan from "Who's Line Is It Anyway". When they get rolling they're pretty funny.

I loved his line when he and Mark were trying to talk Jez out of marrying Nancy - 'She sucked me off.....while I was having a widdle....' Classic line and awesome delivery/timing.

I watch shows like The American Office, Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad online (and I wait for new Curbs to get here on the TV because they're hard to find online.)

I'd say Peep Show is the only really good British sitcom of the last 3 years, and before that it was The Office.

Agree. Extras was pretty funny and insightful in parts, but overall not on the level of Peep Show and The UK Office.

Ooohhh, forgot all about him. Pretty average show, but Jeff is great.

Also I overlooked Nick from My Family. Really terrible show, but Kris Marshall is just a comedy God. A load of us went out on the piss in Bristol last night and a couple of guys saw Kris get run over!!! Glad he seems to be ok!!!
