Product Description

Set aside those loafers and oxfords and try a monkstrap for a change. This one from Too Boot New York is a best bet thanks to its Italian craftsmanship and high-quality materials.

To Boot New York stretches a classic wingtip out into a handsome ankle boot.

BTW, I'm pretty sure that BB doesn't make must-irons in anything other than solid or the basic university stripe anymore. If you want more options in must-iron fabric I'd suggest Ratio, but the prices there will be closer to BB's full retail prices.

lol

if you are in the anti-wallet crowd but get sick of your asparagus rubber band breaking and find regular generic officemax binder clips too pedestrian, try this

I see some wallet talk here and there but I can't find any links for recommended wallets. Any ones people like or a website that I can research? In need of a new/more normal one.

I eventually really want to get a Paul Smith wallet. I think they're sharp and the leather is top notch. Ill probably get one next time I am in vegas or new york.

My dad bought an MClip and it's actually really cool and would be perfect for me but lol @ $140 for a tiny piece of metal with a spring in it.

Buddy of mine highly recommends the AE deerskin, I don't really own gloves at the moment so I was considering it.

Never heard of the brand so don't know how the leather will be, but doesn't look like they're goodyear welted which is a negative. It allows for longer wear and the ability to resole. They could be blake stiched, but I feel like that would be mentioned in the ad as it's a big selling point.

Also, I thought monk strap was the buckle across no?

Yeah think Amazon just described them wrong, not actually monk strap. Will retune if not matching the pictures.

Brand is pretty legit as far as I know, have seen them around and heard decent reviews

this post illustrates why Gustin is awesome. all of those are a)uglier (except maybe the firist one) and b)more expensive. I'm a huge Gustin slappy tho so ymmv

Is there a story here? Fwiw also like the first one the best just based on layout, can't find one that is built the same way.

Non-wallet people, do you still put it in your back or do you put it in your front?

If you put it in your front, where do your keys and cell phone go? I need to have cell in its own pocket, but I can see combining keys+wallet if the wallet is small enough.

I like the idea of one of these smaller wallets, but my major beef is pocket organization.

I've always been a wallet guy until recently a money clip guy and everything has always gone in the front pocket with keys. Granted never really owned anything nice so didn't care if it got scratched.

I really like that wallet designed for the inner jacket pocket because I often wear a jacket but I dunno seems kinda inconvenient if you don't.

I use a beza clip. Clip + keys in left front pocket, phone in right front. I was a back left pocket guy for years and it really screwed up my back. front pocket for life

Def. prefer the saddleback to gustin's wallet aesthetically. Biased though since I've owned it for a few years.

Do you guys condition / waterproof your own shoes? Trying to figure out what to put on. I have some leather cpr lying around for some reason but I dunno if that's gonna do anything for my boots. Recommended brands?

What kind of boots? If they're rugged, like Iron Rangers or something along those lines, then Obenauf's LP may be what you're looking for.

Maybe read this: http://putthison.com/post/3080292641...-boots-i-spent
