if you're gonna argue you shouldn't be wearing shorts when you go out to eat, that's fine.

if you're gonna argue that wearing shorts is not ok when you're golfing and it's 90 degrees out, you're a lunatic

When I start getting paid out of the 2 million dollar purses on tour I'll hang up my shorts and put on some slacks...get a life

That being said your spoiler post beginning with "sup squares" made me lol harder than anything in the last couple months on the forums so keep buying those rad sweaters.

You can get jackets to match most of those John Daly pants, BTW.

I have a wedding in a few weeks and need a suit. I thought a custom tailored one would be a nice idea, but I don't think I have the time for it. Any tips on where to go in the Seattle area?

When you say you "have a wedding" do you mean you're getting married or you're just attending someone else's wedding?

FWIW, no, you don't have time to get something custom tailored. Even a MTM suit will take a couple of months at best.

Attending.

It's 97 degrees here today, obviously everyone wearing shorts. lol at 99/100 dont have legs for it, that isn't even true in the UK where everyone is fugly!

I just have a few pairs of plain colour oxford shorts which are light enough for the heat but look better than sports shorts, or stupid pattern stuff.

dunno about where this guy is but my go-to MTM vendor takes 2 weeks. not all are that quick but i think most of them are under a month.

re: three piece suits. i like them. i have two that are in my regular work rotation. however i think some people see a 3 piece and think of it as automatically more frumpy / more formal than a typical suit. personally i like the three piece because i can take off my jacket and feel comfortable in meetings when it's hot, and also because i feel like slightly bolder shirt/tie combos are possible with the vest covering the body (this might run completely against conventional wisdom, i dunno).

Does this jacket fit well enough in the shoulders to be worth a bit of tailoring (sleeve length etc)?

is that a three-button sport coat? is that a thing?

Kinda hard to tell in the pic but I don't think the shoulders look bad.

PS: tuck in your shirt wtf

i think its supposed to be three roll two, no idea if that's a legit thing. its quite dark navy cashmere. i don't think its an orphan suit jacket, but it may be.

didn't want to tuck it into my beater brown shorts. was just testing fit, wasn't going anywhere. these photos always illustrate how **** my posture is.

It looks like 3 roll 2. You're not supposed to button that top button on those.

I'd snap-buy this piece if it didn't have the logo on it:

What's with all the logos on Kitsune? I normally like their stuff, but it's really overpriced. That one will probably be $350-$400.

Edit- I see their spring windbreaker retailed for over $500, so I probably guessed low. I don't see that piece available though.

explained here, it's the tee collection.

the windbreaker costs €168 (+shipping to US + taxes = much cheaper than $500) and is still available in all colors and sizes.

it's only a polyester jacket; the spring wind breaker was nicer/more elaborate with cotton lining and details.

@cborders: the logo is what made me buy it ^^

the windbreaker is a bit short for my taste and height, that's why i only bought the hoodie.

I picked up a fairly stock suit from Jos A Bank today b/c I needed one for some interviews. It's their slim cut design and it actually fit me nicely. Just wondering what shirt/tie/shoes to match with it. It's a blue suit, not navy blue.

Believe this is it (obv didn't pay this price)

White shirt, dark solid tie, black shoes.

Can't see the suit since I'm on my phone and their website blows.
