I'll watch them all, but I wait for the dvd's, so I can jam them in a couple days. Behind a little now.

I watched an episode of The Office this evening. It was the one where Michael, Andy and Oscar go on a business trip and Andy wants to be Oscar's wing man. Andy and Oscar got drunk on Long Island Iced Tea and called Angela to ask her what is wrong with her. They were funny. But Steve Carell wasn't. His acting kind of sucked. I'm convinced that Ricky Gervais could do the exact same lines that Carell does and deliver them better. I don't think it's the writing. I think it's the acting. Not to mention that it's painful to watch the way Steve Carell kisses.

Dwight did nothing for me in this episode. His wild eyed stare just seems really forced. He says stupid things but I don't find him endearing. If Gareth had been saying the exact same lines it would have been a different story. I love the actor who plays Gareth. He is funny.

I'm glad I've never seen the British version, because it sounds like it would ruin the US version for me. Is there a Pam in the British version? I can't imagine there's a British woman as lovely as Jenna Fischer.

all characters on the show have grown on me except for pam.

mike has become more realistica in ways cause at first he was just a failure, but he's had a few relationships with women (pam's mom, the cheating wife), quit his job when he was treated poorly. sweet character arc ftw

I've always thought the show jumped around with some episodes where Michael was more subtle, then the next week he'd be over the top and awful again. Nowadays it just seems like the cast all pal around on set with ideas for bad music/dance routines to put in the show. I think I'm giving up on it.
