Have any of you guys seen this old HBO miniseries? It's by the guys who did the Wire and is very well done. It's based on a true story of a year in the life of a inner city Baltimore family. The mother and father are drug addicts and their teenage son is a dealer. It's tragic but moving; I highly recommend it.

I watched the first 3 episodes right after season 5 of the wire ended and found it very hard to watch. It was just hard to see half the cast of the wire in totally different roles. I also thought it was pretty dull compared to the wire

i thought that was awesome. daniels and his wife are dope fiends, carcetti's advisor is a dope fiend, and lester freamon is the biggest dope fiend of them all. i thought they were all convincing, especially daniels as a crack head.
