The premise OTT is one of the most refreshing in my three years on 2+2 I look forward to reading and contributing. Tonight I am on an iPod because my desktop crashed. I have to do this more often, haven't yet experienced the whole mobile connected Internet thing that Mac has created.

Ended up quitting my job and moving to Mexico. It's such a surreal feeling going from a sheltered (Up until Monday I had never left the USA), structured existence to this. I've only been here five days but this change was exactly what I needed in my life for my personal growth and happiness. Obviously it won't be smooth sailing all the time and I've already encountered some setbacks but being able to see the world through a fresh set of lenses makes it worthwhile no matter what happens.

I'm awaiting approval from PokerStars so in the meantime I'll reread this thread for inspiration.

I speak very little Spanish. I may know what 75-100 words mean, but otherwise nothing and I can't form sentences other than "How are you". It's not too difficult to communicate or read Spanish though. The banker spoke literally zero English but I managed. I live in a condo complex on the beach and probably 15% of the 55 units are inhabited by poker players so I'm not by myself here.

I don't want to clutter Adsman's thread with my own experiences, but I made some posts in this thread a few months ago and there's also a blog link in my profile if you'd like to read more.

Someone linked this thread in mttc yesterday. I was instantly hooked after reading OP. I read up until part 4 or 5, then bookmarked it so I could finish.

I just finished reading the rest. The whole time I kept thinking, just go to last page and see if the book is out yet you jackass and buy it already.

At first I was a little disappointed that its not out yet. At least I know that I'll be one of the first to buy a copy and get one of those signed limited editions now!

Considering this, lately a lot of authors are releasing their own ebooks from their own personal websites. Anyone who is interested can go online and purchase the ebook... You could consider this if there is too much hassle in actually getting published.
