Before I opened the thread I was thinking of The Prisoner and I see someone beat me to it. Then I saw Andy Griffith. No matter how you rate the show, that has to be the best opening. Gunsmoke, Alfred Hitchcock and The Twilight Zone deserve honorable mentions.
