All my life I was deathly afraid of death rolls until I finally manned up one morning and ate breakfast at Hardees.

My greatest fear is that I will grow old alone, having alienated my friends and family. As I become unable to work and poverty sets in I will find myself alone and helpless in a world I no longer understand.

That, in the end, is what everyone fears. "The sum of all fears" as they say - That we are alone and helpless.

If I find myself in this situation, say over 65, poor and alone, I have resolved to sell my car and buy a gun. Unfortunatly I am too much a coward to use the gun to kill myself. Rather, I would use the gun to rob a post office.

Robbing a post office makes it a federal crime. And provided I insist they keep giving me money until I have enough to qualify for grand theft, then I will be assured a place to live and food to eat until such time as I die of natural causes.

Much better than any nursing home.
