im sure youre right, also the brown bottles keep out more light which keeps em fresh longer.. but i actually like the skunkiness of the heinekens here.

first, importing and exporting isn't an ideal.

secondly, my comments were directed at people citing AMERICAN MADE beers in this thread, because clearly they are nowhere near as good as premium european beers. the fact that you cited importing/exporting makes it even more unforgivable to drink american made beer unless you are a miser/busto.

favorites, at least lately:

though sometimes a good, simple:

really hits the spot

probably the exact makeup of my list will change as it gets a bit colder.

dont really wantn to argue about it, but the fact of the matter is that good beers are made all over the world.

4_2 we get a lot of magic hat stuff around here.. they are based in pennsylvania somewhere right? my buddies from drexel always got them.. i never liked them too much but they loved em.

newcastles are good tho

Suntory.

Wow... besides the OP, there are a lot of good posts in here. Op are you like 15 or something?

Sam Adams makes a horrible hefeweizen. Seriously, just off the top of my head I can't think of many worst.

Stella Artois.... Another crap commercialized choice.

Sadly, heineken is the best you have listed. It is decent, but based on all these drinks you named, you shouldn't be allowed to make threads about beer.

I don't have a favorite... I connoisseur too much... but I am going to finish this grande reserve off before chemistry class. 1 large 9%ABV is perfect to get ya through a 3 hour chem lecture/lab.

The thing about American beer is, that it tastes like water.
And light beer isn´t even beer. The same goes for "mix" or "flavored" beer.
Best Pilsener beers are German (Hefeweizen as well) and Czech.
Best dark beers are from Britain and Ireland.
Which brands are the best... well, in said countries you can usually stick with the local breweries imo, find out on your own.

The king of all beers noobs.
10-01-2008 , 05:22 PM
u guys should def try this beer if you can get it , which u proably cant bc it's only sold to the best 1% of the countries.

anyways its got a cork in the top and has gold foil all over the mother****er so you know it's baller. It definitely is not from the entire continent of north or south america, where it is not possible to brew beer right, so that is a plus.

here it is it's called DVIDZERGRECHEN LAKKER and its a hoppy oak nut beer that will allow u to spit on other people because they'll realize your super high class when they see u with this gold foiled european beer.

BTW, I like Coors Light, Miller Light, Bud Light, Corona, Heineken....but I don't really drink all that often.
You could not be more wrong FX, 3-4 posters in this thread actually tried to pick beers that were unexotic. Theres certain people who simply don't like beer, but amongst us who do, ...we like good beer. Did you know that Bud light is brewed with almost no hops and tons of rice an ingrediant thats not even supposed to be in beer? Did you realize that the beers you mentioned went to great lengths to cut cost and barely can be called beers.

HI IM A BEER GEEK(and an alcoholic)

8 high most of the best beers in the world are brewed right here in america, three floyds, great divide, dogfishhead, sierra nevada, north coast, and dozens of others are world renowned brewers that brew near you.

10-01-2008 , 05:37 PM
