Here in Montreal, you can drink, club, strip club, gamble, and play poker at the casino at 18 years old and the bars and clubs open until 3am, an hour later than anywhere else in Canada. French Canadian chicks are generally cute and/or hot. Add that to the fact that you're 18 and going to McGill and it's sweeeeeeeeeeet.

That's a tough one, its hot most of the year and there's a lot of crime, the roadways are weird and the public transit is near non-existant.

I guess the best thing about it is there's a couple poker rooms and movie theaters and a huge array of restaurants, that's about it. If it weren't for my job here or the people here I'd be gone.

I guess it is rather lucky there's easy access to a poker room though, I know some people don't have it anywhere near them, so as weak as it is, I'm going with that.

When I first moved to PA I actually had off for the first day of Hunting season.
Other than that nothing the area I live in Sucks Giant Donkey Balls.

Partying, drinking, relatively high pay and good currency.(Going traveling soon so it's quite important).
Clubs and bars are +18 and alchohol is +15 or 16. And not from weird liquor stores, in every supermarket, kiosk, mall, shop. Ive been abroad quite some times and I really hate that I have to find some small liqour store just to buy a sixpack and get denied cause I was under 18 or no "valid" id.

Awesome public transport and biking roads = less cars.


Other than that, the weather kinda sucks, kinda expensive living here.

EDIT: I pay too much tax but on the other hand, I get paid 400$/month living home going to school and up to 9-800 living alone.

in the heart of the city wont find anything cheaper than 500 and thats sharing, a studio by yourself would be 700+
we pay 2400 for ours (4 of us) but its huge for Amsterdam standards
