* TR: I was at a church party in high school, and there was a pool at the house. I went out back to get a drink from the cooler, and this kid (age 9 or so, I guess) was in the shallow end, just splashing around. He climbed out, started running around the edge of the pool, and fell in the deep end. He started flailing his arms and yelling. I dove in the pool to rescue this kid, still wearing my clothes. When I jumped in, the kid stopped flailing and started screaming. Turns out, he was playing a joke on me. And the family refused to buy me a new cell phone to replace the one I ruined trying to save their kid. **** them.
